  1. Dunno if this was supposed to be the one and only thread for all the volumes so instead of creating a new thread here's a little heads up: "Yo!!! Previews for the new MNLTH103 cassette will be up in the next week or so, so keep your brains peeled if you're on the list, will be coming soon..." says Dave's Facebook . Anyone remember what this was supposed to be? Rave tape, Techno tape or what? The list has been taken down from photodementia.net... I've been enjoying MNLTH102 a lot so I guess I'll be getting this as well.
  2. I've been enjoying fuk loads of Fork Rave lately. So good. Oh, and the beginning of Iketa thing I was wondering a while back was actually the end bit of P.E. So not a tape break like I remembered but instead both tracks have that same bit. Another nice easter egg. I've been playing around with these similarities in separate tracks with my playlists. Like P.E -> Iketa afx origTheme -> Spectrum -> Dot Icct Hedral - > P-String ->Quoth [Wooden Thumb Mix] X-Rays -> Triple D And my absolute favorite duo (ok, not dumb releted) ABB 3 (CD only Track #1) - > Garden of Linmiri, that long beginning is just something, innit? I talked to the guy who owns the spreadsheet a while back and he gave me exclusive rights to the user18081971-restored-bak tab, so that if the public copy gets vandalized it can be fixed using mine. I went in the other day and undid some minor damage and added a line for tnodvood104 Good, so it's in safe hands then.
  3. Hey seriously dude, the thread called "soundcloud complete collection" is just below this thread. Ok, maybe little misleading title but here's the link: http://forum.watmm.com/topic/89649-user18081971-soundcloud-complete-collection/ The last time I checked Archive.org has also the tracks archived. I don't know about the newest one but while I'm at it, please rich please enable download....please. My 128 kbps rip just isn't enough. And if the google doc hasn't been hacked again, it should be found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11ouNaaVrNp60Ib34Kp0TO1n1XSc7-9DvfiZ9ZiTiD2c/htmlview (BTW, just fooling with you mate, enjoy the tracks <3 )
  4. It's missing the Aphex logo. The pic is literally screaming for it.
  5. Yes! I'm hearing this too. Vocal samples remind me of the Heidi tracks on EDM F/A-18+stimulator. This is some groovy shit. I like it. Thanks RDJ! Download pls.
  6. Wholeheartedly agree with these two fine (?) gentlemen. Interesting to see what will eventually come out. Good luck with the businesses etc! P.S. Totally off-topic but I use the opportunity to shout out that the Rewind Records Comp on Rephlex is one of my top5 releases ever. It just keeps banging after all thses years. Thanks for the tunes! Soundmurderer 4 lyfe dawg yo.
  7. OK this could go to the genban's favorite youtube vid thread but I see this more fitting here. I saw this ''document'' years ago and thanks to my recent enthusiasm with industrial like banging techno or whatever I suddenly remembered this: a finnish percussion collective Transistori playing old abandoned factory building. Divided into four parts, here's the first one Now, this is what I'd call industrial.
  8. Despite my rant earlier this one won me over and so here I am - a happy pre-orderer for the demotape. Based on the previews it will include a nice bunch of tracks. All the same, I'm such a fake

    APHEX TWIN - SYRO

Yeah same here, goes to my top 3 Aphex releases along with Drukqs and ICBYD. It took me some time to understand how huge some of the tracks really are, especially XMAS_EVET10. Syro has sounded great from the beginning but I've grown to love it even more during these two years. Great album. This sounds totally greedy after the amount of music RDJ has delivered within the past couple of years, but I've too toyed recently a lot with the idea of next proper Aphex LP. I love how there has been some natural logic with Syro->CCAI pt.2->Cheetah trio; the way how they kinda complete one another. ODS was somewhat an oddity between those but then again it was a AFX release and not an Aphex one. Dunno, maybe a LP built around the T tracks would be something interesting. But honestly, whether it was a sc remastered collection, MfM (tussified or not), SAW3 or SOSW 2 I'm in. BTW when cheetah ep was released, I built a quick ''mini-syro'' (ok, more like a singles collection + b sides) playlist of some of the syro period tracks that I thought went nicely along with each other. I've been enjoying that a lot, maybe you guys can too: Minipops 67 CIRKLON3 MARCHROMT30a Edit 2b 96 diskhat ALL prepared1mixed 13 Syro u473t8+e T08+4 T13 Quadraverb PAPAT4
  10. I downloaded my files from bandcamp and they are fine. Dunno if I should get worried since my discs aren't shipped yet. Some people seem to have received their copies ages ago. Did you pull the FLAC from Bandcamp? I keep getting a Failed - Network error, but I'm able to pull the v0 mp3 version. Which I might just stick with... Since I have a hard copy coming I was speaking of mp3s for my walkman. Don't know if flacs etc. have some issues so maybe Zeffolia was talking about them. Got my shipping notification too. Blerp has totally spoiled me by always shipping the goodies few days before the release date. So here I'm waiting the same VIP treatment from every label and distributor. Hope to find some time to have a listening session this weekend.

  12. These tracker pieces are so different from Bogdan's later releases. Those love melodies nintend0 tracks which I have are more similar to Boku Mo Wakaran or other Bogdan's releases but these tracker things are something else. Really digging those. They were a bitch to convert though. So many sweet tracks there that should get a digital re-release. Karl bandcamp perhaps? Calling Leo Dicaprio to plant a seed of idea into Bogdan's head. (If not obvious or something) I think that the first track ____-»-»__ on weakmassive's folder is Bleh from Denki Shingon EP. Somone has uploaded the other missing tracks on YT if you want to check them out.
  13. wow cool! Some serious bit of IDMz history there. Can't wait to have a serious listening session with these. Thanks! Hope that also Ibiza Anthems will appear on bc at some point. And maybe 96 Dum'n Bass classics and I Will Eat Your Children Too since Renegade only compiles some pieces of them. Interesting to see what else will come out.
  14. FWS: 18 weeks without cigs (7 without nicotine). Felt important to document my enormous achievement somewhere FWP: I'd still really fancy a smoke now and then - you know just that one. But nah I'm done with that shit. Late congrats young Bob Dylan! And then some useless trivia: uni = sleep in Finnish. Makes your achievement even bigger if you happen to suffer from insomnia.
  15. Martin's Car LPF - MTG Edit Eq Powerpill - Octave Nob has become something like holy trinity to me. Those just go so perfectly together. Can't stop listening to the trio. That subway train on MTG, so sweet. Definitely same city but maybe another street. Good catch. It took me some sweet time to spot that samish clattery synth line in NY Groove and Acrid Avid Jam Shred. Was listening to ICBYD last week and suddenly thought ''hell, this bit sounds like NY groove''. Funny, I haven't thought Acrid even once when I've been listening to NY Groove. Embarassing since Acrid goes to my top10 Aphex songs and should know it inside out by now. But, still spotting new things after a year+ of intense listening. Hey has anyone else spotted the beginning of Iketa at the ending of some song? Like it would have been the next song on the tape. I swear I've heard it several times but when tried to search it just couldn't find it anymore. God it has been bugging me. And no, I'm not speaking of Bike Pump Meets Bucket at the end of X-Rays.
  16. Go get them asap. If you look the distance on the map it's only some cm's anyway.
  17. Love this one: Goddamn, I arrived too late to the nerd IDM underground scene. Feeling so stupid here but can I somehow convert those tracker pieces to mp3 or something (there's a link in the YT description to the original files but I can't do anything with them)? I take it that there currently isn't a way to get ahold of those impulse tracker pieces and/or Bogdan's KFMF stuff (Karl etc.)? I've got only some pieces of love melodies nintend0 but haven't even been able to find them all let alone the Karl releases or Ice Climber ones. Woud really love to hear those. In general I find Bogdan's early releases much more interesting than his later works which somehow don't have the same impact on me. Hate to ask but if someone can help with those early tracks please do. Because..... I'm little sceptical about Bogdan putting his early tracks to bc since I somehow see that Bogdan's Rephex catalogue is his main body of works and the early days were based more on the computer scene etc. with Kosmic Free Music Foundation but that is wholly my own interpretation so could be total bullshit. But speaking of other unreleased Bogdan here is a cool video: (lol, where can I get these? )

    Cheetah EP

    I know this! hat 2b 2012b
  19. Hate to be the guy bitching about this, but it would have been nice to know some little details about the product before placing the order; you know those little things that shouldn't matter when talking about art like eh price, how many tracks I'll get, postages etc. Previews sounded nice but tbh some of them sounded like I had heard them before on earlier MNLTH releases. Guess I'm going to pass the tape and wait for the digitals if there ever will be some. Fingers crossed.
  20. Sorry, I don't dip into WATMM so much these days. Any idea what this actually comprises? I ordered the clear vinyl and CD regardless and don't care if it's Now That's What I Call Colundi or new stuff or whatever, but still..... just curious. It's basically a compilation of tracks from already released Levels through the years, but now on vinyl. Thank you, I imagined it might be. I've a feeling somehow that it's going to be delayed for a bit. That sweet nostalgic breeze of Rephlex rising in horizon. Brings a tear to my eye. Since I'm such a lazy ass who hasn't really kept up with the massive amount of Colundi volumes the comp format will be better suited for me. Really liked the samples. Wasn't really fond with the first two volumes but there's something else in the other volumes which is more to my taste. Has there been any info of how many volumes this comp series will contain? Aleksi stated in an interview that there will be 21 volumes. 21 volumes of compilations?

    Cheetah EP

Yeah, overall I like the Cottages maybe slightly more. Yet nothing wrong with Cheetahs. I actually like it how this EP continues the SYROian Aphex period. Somehow feels like a natural progrenssion or something. Oh, they are totally different tracks from the other formats or what? Cool. BTW you already said that very same thing in the new release sub. Point taken Pre-ordered the plastic. I'm a thug.
