  1. will try demo on the weekend, cheers lads
  2. looks tasty as someone who's never used ableton (still a die-hard reason 6 wanker lol) would you lovely folks suggest i give this a whirl while they're running the 20% deal? or would i simply benefit more from upgrading to reason 11, what with knowing the interface pretty well and so on...
  3. safdie bros-directed music video and a new witches borscht mix (a/v set?) streaming tonight on twitch
  4. monolithic bump as said synth is up for auction https://www.ebay.com/itm/184529209534
  5. yep, great track. pretty standard opinion incoming, but blue and pinkerton really are the best albums they ever released and likely will ever release. green and maladroit are ok, but after that point it all ranges from decent to truly horrifying. would be interested to hear what weezer sound like now, in an alternate universe where matt sharp never left.
  6. there are a bunch of weezer tunes without rivers on lead... there are probably more but i'm only familiar with around half of their discography
  7. thought of some more... king gizzard and the lizard wizard, dinosaur jr, dirty projectors, soft hair, blur, drab majesty, weezer
  8. in some ways, i kinda wish this was extended into a double album. at the moment it almost feels like two separate EPs. i think the concept/flow would work really well spread over 90-120 minutes, although i'm sure many would disagree ? also while i'm here... imago is the prettiest track of the year
  9. apparently sample 3 is the japanese bonus track off the new opn record
  10. i've listened to SIGN 6 or 7 times and PLUS only once, but based on that first impression alone, PLUS is the one for me. i prefer the beat-centric/complex side of their work, so naturally i gravitate more towards green boi. however, i will say that SIGN has some of the best ambient pieces they've ever done.
  11. drive time suite = twin peaks season 1 mid day suite = first half of season 2 no nightmares = second half of season 2 the rest = season 3 gottalite?
  12. he clearly doesn't like autechre, he should avoid reviewing them in any capacity.
  13. long road home is the perfect pop song, and i don't love me anymore is fun and almost mbv-esque. but no nightmares sounds like an enrique deep cut. and i don't fuck with enrique tbh
  14. yo, this album is fucking good! second half is very replica/r+7/uncut gems ost for those who were worried. i still can't get into that one weeknd tune though, and i don't think i ever will, but it's cool cos everything else is rad.
  15. still undecided on this project as a whole, every track i've heard so far is simply okay. hoping everything sounds better within the context of the album.
  16. just saw deftones are dropping a white pony remix album in december, and our boy tom will be fuckin up pink maggit. no previews online yet afaik, but will keep looking... https://deftones.warnerrecords.com/white-pony-20th-anniversary-deluxe-vinyl-box-set-1.html
  17. i'll go with yes, providing there's a good balance of non-intrusion and relevancy. a banner at the top of the page and maybe an occasional ad between forum posts would likely be fine for most folks. and maybe if the ad content was tailored to us (gear, music, etc.) people would be more lenient towards them.
  18. just finished my first listen i liked SIGN, but this is the most enjoyment i've had listening to an ae record since exai bravo techre bros ?
  19. it's all well and good constantly being in a new music making mood but if it never leaves the cirklon then what's the point ?
