edit: ^sweet bridge pic I know when cf fails it does so catastrophically if you don't see or feel the initial stages of failure, but is it really that common of an occurrence on road bikes? shit I'm still considering getting a cf frame on my next mountain bike though that seems way more sketchy (especially when you fall as much as my dumb ass does out on the trails). think I'll stick with getting the aluminum model and later upgrade to cf wheels and run tubeless instead this is what I want

I agree. They have set themselves up for disappointment no matter what. After some time goes by, people may calm down about it, but initially it is going to be "it took 12 years to have a 1:00 interlude with spoons?" FLOL. Yeah, the immediate backlash this album will face upon release is going to be pretty severe.

Nowhere near as impactful, influential, etc. as that album was obviously given the time when it came out. Fuck it though, give me the choice between listening to either one and it's World Building 9 times out of 10

Still think they are very different albums and World Building is an original work, not at all sounding like people that ape Richard's style, so a comparison doesn't mean much. Both great albums with SYRO being a bit more of a masterclass. It would be really fucking hard to top a Wizard's "comeback" album. Here's my controversial opinion though, World Building is a better debut album than SAW 85-92 was. *logs off WATMM. Locks all doors. Turns off the lights*

Took a couple months off from this album and came back to it recently. Sounds even better now. That was an important update and you've just been informed of it because you opened this thread and checked out this new reply. Consider yourself lucky. additionally, I came across this on youtube looking for T13 quadraverb not sure why but I really enjoyed listening to the Quadraverb work its magic on an Aphexian classic

Having an opinion is silly? Nope. Also, not liking a song doesn't equate to not liking a musician. Do you feel obligated to celebrate and defend every song in your favorite musicians' discography? Don't answer that. Some of my favorite musicians have put out some lackluster showings throughout the years and there's nothing necessarily wrong with that. Typically it's with people who roll the dice, push themselves out of their comfort zone or are going through changes and are just being honest with themselves. I don't hate OPN, though I don't particularly enjoy him a whole lot either. Either way though this song fucking stinks.

yeah, i'm probably overreacting and it's just one song. and just to clarify I don't mean it was stunningly awful in a no talent sort of way, I just mean it did absolutely nothing for me. just completely middle of the road auto-tuned tripe and an equally dull video. pick a better song as a lead single and maybe get frank henenlotter to direct your quirky little 90's video next time. if OPN did happen to read this he would probably enjoy knowing how unreasonably upset this song makes me. I'm not even sure why it bothered me as much as it did. This single is on par with my recent introduction to Greta Van Fleet. anyways, all the medieval shit sounded really cool and I still plan on checking it out.
