    currently playing the appliance repair game. I'm DIY on most house stuff, but when it comes to replacing electrical parts I'd rather not. guy 1 - left v/m, no reply. guy 2 - rude right off the bat. cut me off as I was explaining the issue, said "yeah, I'm not interested, thanks" and hung up. guy 3 - said he'd be here 2 hours ago. called him again and no answer this time. can't wait to play again tomorrow with the next round of participants.

    haha yep, I was like wasn't there another thread...oh well, who cares. glad to get more music from him. his whereabouts had been questioned a few times on here over the years.

    yep. and Thom/RH have been know to say stuff like oh yeah, there's no time signature in such and such a song, when in fact it is 4/4. makes it all the more cryptic I guess.

    I have a family member who got involved when Betomania was a thing back in 2018. worked the phone banks and all that. tried to get me to put a Beto sign in my front yard and I was like nuh-uh. you know where I live? I'm trying to blend in with the enemy out here. far more big ass trucks and trumpers around me than my tribe. walking around knocking on their doors to promote Beto is a good way to get into a fight. I guess I'm not as dedicated to the cause. I mean fuck the current iteration of the republican party and I'll vote against them, but I try and not talk about politics with people I don't know. back in 2018 they did. let's see if he can whirl that up again.

    ^ how can I get a head's up on this shit? I'd totally head down there to hang out with those guys. although the wife may question my sanity more than ever if I start doing stuff like that. oh well!

    he did come close, but the momentum that propelled him to get to that point fizzled out after. the 2020 run for pres was a disaster. I can't see him beating Abbott. as I said, I will vote for him, or anyone who isn't Abbott, but am worried he's not the right guy to do it. seriously, Matthew freakin McConaughey is polling better than both of them. this is the world we live in. clown show.

    poor Beto, why do you keep doing this: https://www.texastribune.org/2021/11/15/beto-orourke-texas-governor-2022/ I will vote for anyone who isn't Greg Abbott. but I just can't see any magic coming from Beto's dwindling support base to pull this off. especially with the McConaissance flirting with the idea to run for gov in TX. I mean who wouldn't want to see that happen! I do like Beto, but think it was a huge mistake for him to run for president in 2020. made him look like he's more interested in the celebrity than the grassroots activist causes he purports to fight on behalf of. plus, the cringe can be a bit strong at times with him. when he loses this time, then it's game over man. no mas.

    lol well based on some of the stuff you've been posting on here of late, you aren't exactly coming across as a reliable narrator. could be your split personality at work. but seriously, I on occasion dig out stuff I recorded a long time ago, and also don't recognize it at all. but this is like random recordings from 2005, so don't think any brain is capable of deep diving that far. hey at least you recorded it. the number of riffs/ideas I didn't jot down and are now long gone...

    I know we're crossing the streams with the TV thread, but you ever check out his TV show Alfred Hitchcock Presents? I've been watching a lot of those recently. there's like 250+ episodes.

    took my 7 year old yesterday to get his 1st shot of Pfizer. he took it like a champ, no side effects so far. it was done through the local school district, shots were given by nurses at one of the schools in the area. a bunch of kids there. holy hell some of them were just not having it. top-of-the-lungs screaming, wails of NO I DON'T WANT IT, one kid was being physically restrained by his dad as he was getting the jab. I was laughing to myself thinking it would probably be a similar scene if you tried to rollout the vax at a maga rally.

    from this vantage point, it appears you are taking a photo of the pizza from where the oven door would be located, which then leads me to conclude the other items at the upper part of the photo (knife, bag of something, plastic bottle) would then also be located inside the oven, which makes no sense. please explain how ovens in your country work.

    WOT don't give them the answers m8. better to let these things sort themselves out naturally. eventually the correct deductions will be had. similar to how our ancestors figured out sacrificing humans to make the sun appear the next day isn't entirely necessary.
