Charcoal Teeth Teeth in my Coffee Snakes Coming out of my Butt Spiders in my Buttcrack ---------- Multiple iterations for "Toaoaoad". Can't figure out what logic it uses for nonsense words, but clearly there are repeating elements
  3. These were on clearance so I thought why not, this might be interesting when I have the munchies. Kind of a sad product to me, to think that there's some exasperated mom out there who has to resort to this just to get the kids to eat a damn vegetable. Or I'm not really sure who this product is for exactly. Anyway, they're not bad, tho they have a crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside thing going on, more akin to zucchini sticks than tater tots. And seemed strangely fitting after playing with that neural network thing... this bizarre food seems like something it could have merged together.

Gogoodadi made me lol. This gave me the idea to try to play "telephone" with the program, to see if I typed "Gogoodadi" what it would spit out. But it gave me this: Gogoodadi Also here's some more: Jazz Pizza Jesus at a MAGA Rally Weed Demon Gelatinous Boyfriend Steamy Belch Moist Fart Horny Karen Insatiable Fuckboy Luscious Anus Booba

  7. I have a friend who is pretty open minded about music and over the years I would send him various stuff to check out. Usually he'd be interested but not necessarily absorb it into his own collection. He's a huge Depeche Mode fan, so I think that's mostly his point of reference for electronic sounds. Surely I'd sent him various Autechre tracks over the years. But kind of as a lol one day I sent him Perlence Subrange 6-36. He listened to the whole thing and was converted. He bought Exai after that and was totally blown away by Fleure, and would just listen to it over and over (not sure if he ever even got into the rest of the album lol). My point is that people can get into Ae via all sorts of routes; somehow for this guy it was the challenge of listening to a repetitive hour-long track, like doing it as a dare, and then being changed by the experience. Not sure if I've ever successfully converted anyone else tho (I generally don't try - see screenshot from earlier lol)
  8. Really? Some racist shit you said a long time ago "still makes you chuckle"? How old are you now?
  9. Nice, good call, totally overlooked bine! Parhelic triangle is also a contender. everything pre-quaristice has really specific emotions and memories attached for me tho so I sorta breezed over those. (p1p2 and the creepier NTS tracks were my starting point)
  10. Bump - This was the only specifically Halloween related thread lol and I didn't wanna start a whole new thread just for this, but here's a Halloween Ae playlist I put together. I'm a bit late on this since the day is nearly over, but thought something like this might interest some of you fellow fanslutz - I'm curious to hear what other tracks you might add that give you a "halloween" (i.e. generally creepy/spooky) vibe! Japan bonus tracks really get to shine here. This mix is only Quaristice-onward and I didn't dig into remixes, tho I think the Anodyne rmx could probably fit in here somewhere too. 1. 11. Went looking for the most appropriate topic to bump to express my love for AEC MERLIN The hyper-detailed programming, those lush processed hi-hats underneath the glitchy beat, the woozy detuned BOCish synths (bit of an Iced Cooly vibe for me), the off kilter beat, angular bassline and strange harmonies... Everything is so delicate but so lively, and just abrasive enough to give it a bit of an edge. Just an incredibly masterful track. This whole album feels almost obsessively meticulous, like you can really hear the effort that went into it (typical of IDM at the time and is something I really valued in music back then as well), it's amazing that he said at the time that it would be his last - It does seem like it was his last in this particular style tho. Anyway, today is a day to celebrate AEC Merlin, bright and sunny fall day, will be going out for a walk down a Bilious Path somewhere
  12. Procrastinating dealing with something important so I had time to do this . This order works pretty well, at least in terms of transitions from one track's ending to the next track's beginning (I haven't sat and listened thru the full 2hr+17m to see if it balances out in terms of listening fatigue etc yet) but I think this is pretty decent: 1. 444 2. Piezo 3. Clipper 4. Splesh 5. Pen Expers 6. Augmatic Disport 7. Surripere 8. Cep puiqMX 9. Pir 10. Corc 11. M4 Lema 12. Foldfree Casual 13. Cloudline 14. Cichli 15. Qplay 16. Ecol4 17. Paralel Suns
  13. Second Toughest is a masterpiece. Drift was ok, some pretty strong tracks in there. A lot of the tracks would have been better without Karl, sorry Karl I remember reading somewhere that Rick rejected Karl's original vocals for Listen to Their No and asked him to write something else. One of the best tracks of the lot. Maybe if they did that more often the outcomes would be better lol
  14. the 1991 thread got me thinking about these Family car trips and such, good times
  15. 444 Piezo Clipper Cichli Corc Pir Pen Expers Surripere Augmatic Disport Paralel Suns Qplay Cep PuiqMX Cloudline Foldfree Casual Splesh M4 Lema Ecol4 Not really sure if this would work as an actual playlist lol (probably with some juggling)... Just tried to pick a desert island track from each, tho it's pretty much impossible with NTS. I included EP7, Move of Ten and PLUS because to me they are albums.
  16. Geez lol how times have changed since the bull wallet days
