    into the spider-verse this was entertaining. story and characters not as charming as the marvel spidermans but wow I was really impressed with the animation. very imaginative. felt like I was watching something "new" in a sense - trying to take 3D animation in a direction beyond the pixar style which is so stale at this point. for that i applaud them because it really worked. some funny bits too (like the fat, loser divorced spiderman being jewish lmao) although jon mulaney was, as usual, not funny. watched on 4K UHD bluray on my OLED and was blown away. recommended !

    i have no idea whether prometheus was "good" or not. I will say that there are some scenes that have stuck with me for many years. that can be a sign of an interesting, although imperfect film. I thought the casting was odd but good, the effects excellent and in general the scope of the film to be unusual and enticing. I remember nothing positive about covenant other than david running to catch the ship (which was funny) and kenny powers saying you're fuckin out when he killed the alien. actually i think i just imagined that last part but i wished they had replaced all of katherine watserston with it.

    first track on sunshine 3 is one of the best colundis out there. when i play the vinyl on the hifi the bass is just mental. lovely stuff - not my words michael, the words of shakin' stevens

    have to say the new aleksi is probably the worst ive heard in the colundi saga. that said, it's still alright! I would *highly* recommend people go through the celestial series again. sunlight 1-3, starlight 1-3 and then moonshine. sun and starlight 3 being me two favs. they are so good.
