FSOL maybe not so much as their style varies a lot and is sometimes hardly related to 1 DM;- , but Clark is genereally being discussed a lot (even though I didn't like his new stuff so far) and Bola seems to be apreciated very much by everyone, was involved in Gescom stuff, makes generally unique electronic music and so on. Plenty of releases if you take their other aliases into consideration. Been releasing music since '92 Fairly constant mention/discussion here. Stinson is dead but Donald still releases regularly. Seems to me though that there are a bunch of artists that bring more casserole to the IDM buffet than cylob - got nothing against dude or his music, I just don't see him as particularly popular/prominent. IMHO some of the more savoury selections include - The Orb - Chris Clark - Amon Tobin - Mouse on Mars And possibly - Aleksi Perala/Ovuca/Astrobotnia - Bola jus' sayin! Agreed. Cylob is shit, and Aleksi Perala is awesome. someone make joyrex a vsnares mix. i think you just missed the great stuff in amongst the vast amounts of shite and subforumwise i don't go in them so i could careless who has one. give plaid 2 for all i care I haven't gone into the subforums in months.
