thats perfect. can't you jut use that as is, with cropping but keep the border

That would be very lazy to steal this image from Google and use it as a cover artwork. I made a more bocful version of my "vintage" artwork.

Where in the fuck did you get a hi-res picture of a penguin* carcass?

*assumption

actually it's from the same site as that chernobyl biker lady's photojournal

(but yes, it's a penguin and it was shot in antarctica)

Perfection.

this is my favorite now. the vector (or just flat colored) mountains were sweet but something didn't work, and it wasn't the typeface or text. i think an illustration of mountains on a wider scale would be better.

im not entirely happy with it. if you like it i can tweak it for you.

well okay, i have two favorites.

i think it would be cool to combine taint's image with pigster's vector mountains. below is a sloppy sketch of the idea in mspaint, but a high quality attempt at it would look cool.

alzado is on to something

maybe lose the underline and have antarctica underlining the mountains

or have no text whatsoever to be mysterious

Perfection.

Yes!

My favourite too. Though my brain is confused in whether or not it likes the underline (or if it could benefit from a line equidistant above the text too)

I agree with Adjective, I think Alzado's cracked this one.

straight up. although that's painful to say because im still bitter about getting no love for my rocking design.

I definitely think the underline needs to be there to stabilize the photo because of the tilting horizon - but the underline is a bit too long just like keltoi says.

this is awesome, but the font looks too friendly, antarctica is not all fun and games and all that malarky eh

To be fair, your design is one of the better ones I think, but the font wasn't great.

This thread makes me realise just how much effect the font has on these things

i liked that effect, like your leaning into the wind
