QBLA Posted July 18, 2010 Share Posted July 18, 2010 i'm not against the soccer subforum... but that place will probably be a wasteland until 2014. actually it'll probably produce more traffic than mu-ziq and cylob combined. i was really into the world cup watching it from beginning to end. i'm hoping that this will continue with other soccer leagues and stuff. because i really only watch soccer during world cup tourneys. My blustering rants about movies are all on one big thread, which gives everybody the chance to ignore me with minimal effort. I know that's a horrible thing to say but I guess a better way of putting it is that it would be annoying for most people NOT into football, if there was a bunch of football threads in General Banter. I think the Movie subforum seems much more warranted being that we discuss film a lot, and it's much more relevant. At least films are art, and most have music in them. I don't think seperating movie threads could make genban less interesting or bland. But I know what you mean, creating dozens of new sections could possibly kill popularity in general as we all love to see a tons of new threads in one subforum instead of few in separated ones, but it's all about one.
