Sexy! I may get one.

I have skipped every handheld gaming device that's hit the market since the Neo Geo Pocket (which was brilliant btw) failed hard.

nice but why not just go with a multitouch?

true story: after playing through the grand total of about 4 or 5 titles available for the psp that hold my interest longer than an hour or two, i tend to use my psp now as a portable snes and sega genesis. the emulators work great.

the design of the d-pad looks pretty bad

but they dont care about people with large fingers i guess

they never have. i played with one (psp) for a very short ammount of time but that was what i was left feeling. maybe you get used to that, i dunno.

fact: Sony is a japanese company

fact: Japanese people tend not to be on the chubby side

fact: companies like Sony and Nokia tend to make products that fit most with their homeland

This just seems like a desperate attempt to get some attention when we all know who's got the software chops for handheld gaming and the magic 3d display this spring.

Also:

October 2010 NA sales:

Nintendo DS - 342k

PSP - 75k

Yep guys ! Thanks, I'm honoured

Best game EVAR. No need of "Augmented Reality" or "Converging Real" at that time !!!

It was incredible...even better than Flashback, which was another outstanding game in that style.

This actually looks pretty good. I've got the PSP-Go, which is pretty decent besides the fact that not all games are available for download. I mainly use it as an MP3 player though. I wonder what the HDD size in the PSP2 will be. I hope it's huge so I can put a butt-load of music and movies on it. I know it takes flash media cards, but surely there is a built in hdd.

The only thing I can see that's impressive would be the augmented reality part but I didn't see a demo of how that's supposed to work with games so I remain unimpressed

i really enjoyed my psp, even wrote a game for it. but eventually sold it. the thing it needed most was a capacitive touch screen.

rear touchpad is a great idea. would like to see it on phones. i think eventually most devices will be completely touch sensitive; back, front, sides...

who wants to bet they try to sell it for $499?
