I would browse Hyperdub, Hotflush Recordings, Tempa (they have the definitive compilation series), Soul Jazz "Box of Dub" and "Future Bass" series, Swamp81, Skull Disco, and Planet Mu of course. There are many more, but those are the ones I think of immediately. Burial is essential of course, but I'd also try out some Roly Porter and and Emptyset for some weirder but definitely heavy bass music. I love me some Scuba as well.
