Redruth
"Classic drum machines, analog tape recording and an emphasis on a kind of ''pure'' bedroom electronic music, are the characteristics of Milkwhite PGM. CP began to work on this album in 2010 as nothing more than music for him to play at night while he passed out in bed reading a paperback. That aesthetic of intimate home-space music is still present in the final tracks. Limited edition of 121 copies." http://clone.nl/item23688.html http://coppicehalifa...ic-galaxy-maker

Mellow U
Thanks for posting a topic about my record Redruth! I'm quite proud of this one having worked on it for a couple years, but I just haven't had any time or energy to post about it anywhere lately. Glad it's being enjoyed! Mellow U
you should be proud. great sounds in this If you dig this album, it's worth mentioning the Sno Dreem album too. Sno Dreem was released a while ago, and contains alt. versions/outtakes from the MPGM sessions as well as a swank remix by Thisket! http://coppicehalifax.bandcamp.com/album/sno-dreem

Mellow U
right. i love 'carpet tape' off that Ha! I always get the subtle itch of regret at not including that on MPGM...however, Milkwhite is already 70 minutes as it is! I remember the sessions got way out of hand for something that was only intended to be like an hour long...
Dale
Hey Brian - are you writing any new music under the Milieu pseudonym?
Mellow U
Hey Brian - are you writing any new music under the Milieu pseudonym? All the time! Just not nearly as much as I'm doing as Coppice Halifax these days. The most recent Milieu releases were H Is For Hologram (and its sister outtakes release Enjoy Your Stay At The Holograph Lounge) and also the two volumes of Euflorian Additions. I'm about 50-60% with the next Milieu album, tentatively titled Academy Stripes, which is going to be lots of bouncy melodic braindance stuff with old drum machines and squelchy rubbery synths.
