are there 3 threads like this floating about?

its funny how the mods here jump on anything remotely pornographic or too sexually explicit almost immediately but then we have like 3 of the same thread floating around for days and no one cares. priorities, priorities

I honestly think Queen is extremely overrated.

I honestly think Canon in D is extremely overrated.

edit: I'm pretty sure I'll have to hear at least one or the other at my own goddamn wedding in a month

edit2: wedding processional to fat bottomed girls obvi

edit3: what the fuck am I saying, I'm supposed to plan the whole playlist

edit4: oh shit I forgot to do that

I got slagged on here for citing Queen's Night At the Opera as a great album, so not them. Hendrix has got to have less haters than 99.99% of other artists in popular music, so he's perhaps the closest thing to a universally adored artist in popular music. I've met several people who dislike the Beatles, but no one who's ever admitted to not liking Hendrix. There are of course people who listen to only classical or only country that would despise it I'm sure, and let's not forget the KKK. They hate everything that isn't Prussian Blue.

Growing up, everyone that I ran in to, regardless what kind of person they were, loved Bob Marley. I always thought Bob Marley fit the criteria of this thread title. But now that I live out in the country, anybody that I've asked(and I've been sure to ask everyone that I've gotten to know somewhat) dislikes Bob Marley and reggae as a whole. It's really quite mind-blowing. Reggae, but especially Bob was always close to everyone I knew growing up in Miami. These thoughts really make for a cold winter when I look at the people around me.
