guitarist: jimi hendrix and dinosaur jr and zappa. holy fuck

piano: monk and bill evans

bass: paul chamber and ron carter

guitar processing: zappa.

lead singer: gil scott heron and van morrison and honestly, I would really like to direct celine dion. imo, she has the most incisive voice of all time. the voice that cuts thrue feelings like butter. sad she is surrounded by such cliché producer,

computers and effects: jon hopkins, aphex twin and kettel

My band would be called 'Phurnace':

Vox - Me

Woodblock - Burial

Texture Guitars - Adam Wiltzie

Stompbox - Larry Mullen Jr.

- We'd all inject Crocodil before each performance.

- Our tours would include a regular stop in Douala, Cameroon.

- We would release myotonic goats into the crowd during the encore.

- Simon Reynolds would write about us in Pitchfork and describe our sound as 'Womb-like' in a highly verbose quotation which we would be sure to include on all our publicity stills and promotion.

gil is on advert? what do you mean?

Gil scott is imo the most underated vocalist of all time.

chambers si imo the arguably the best jazz bassist. hes just a alien as far as im concern. Its sad that definitely, those kind of musicians are not really possible anymore.

Guitars/Feedback - Kevin Shields

Vocoder - Tom Fec

Percussion - Zach Hill

Percussion Processing - Seaaan

Bass - Absiv

(holy shit @ the thought of Hill's drumming being processed and messed up ala Autechre)

Drums 2: Rick Allen

Drums 3: Guy I saw in Hamilton once who played sweet live DnB

Drums 4: Joe Morello

everything: me (sorry, not interested in collabs)

but i'd like to have this:

1. computer: top of the line mac pro 12 core = 10.000 euros

2. various software: 5.000 euros

3. speakers: geithain rl944 = 10.000 euros

4. dac: lynx hilo = 2.500 euros

5. acoustical treatment for my room = 3000 euros

so about 30.000 euros would be everything i'd ever need no matter how rich i am

a good alternative for geithans would be amphion one18. I got them a month ago. amazing speakers!

Okay, lineup update:

Vocals - Patrick Stewart (through loads of Max/MSP modeled distortion/reverb triggered by sean on laptop). Each track would consist of Stewart singing the ingredients list of a different breakfast cereal in his best Locutus impression.

Theremin - Michael J Fox (for obvious reasons).

Laser Harp - Brian May

Duck sounds with privates (pitched down by sean on laptop to provide bassline) - Madonna

Edit: the group is called Pheatures.

hey! :w00t: i read about those. apparently they're the best buy atm.

regarding my financial situation/plan i'm gonna buy those for sure, cause i doubt i'm gonna have 10k euros for the rl944 in near future, but probably will have 3k for the one18 & 100w amphion amp, in next 1-2 yrs.

have you compare them to the one15? i'm still not sure which one to buy...

hehe

yeah, as I didnt have 12k for geithans, amphion is definitely a good second choice for 3.5k.

I have been a audiophile for 4 years, and listened to countless speakers. They beat wilsons, harbeth, audio note, reference 3a that ive heard and own.

they are incredible!
