so i got busted with 1.1 grams of weed on the 20th of Aug. i got a good lawyer and just started some diversion program... this is my first offense and my first time dealing with such matters btw. anyways, my lawyer sent me my first letter yesterday since starting the diversion program. in it he states that my appearance is required in court on the 21 of this month, but in corner he wrote in pen "don't freak! it's only a status hearing, not a trial." ...no mention of a drug test in any of these papers, sooo wtf? will i get drug tested? this is my first time appearing ANYWHERE, but the jail, since the arrest. what are the ramifications for a failed drug test at one…

Fox's last great non-Groening animation series officially ended yesterday, after 13 suprisingly consistent seasons. In it's place, Family Guy Mk. III will air. Thank god for Adult Swim until the entire series makes it to DVD.

Been working on a quotation for a project all week - its a structural fabrication for a school (essentially a fancy canopy with articulated joints, tapered steel sections, all galvanized and powder coated etc) - its a nice little project for a company my size. We will be installing it too. Submitted our first quotation about a month ago. Had a call on tuesday seeing if I could attend a site survey on thursday - things were looking up! However... Was asked to shave the costs down by a good few £1000s, AND the complexity of the project had increased with about another ton of steel involved! So they want more work, for less, and the deadline is getting closer..…

I've been contemplating the looks of over protective ambivalence lately. The way in which the body entrusts the character underneath the overly drawn out forces that we all share has become understandably impregnable to me. I haven't encountered much life between understanding this and actually facing this, but when I actually take the time out of my days to witness it, I become extremely relieved.
