I haven't seen this show, but I'm curious what WATMM thinks of it. I downloaded it a few nights ago. I then saw that it was created / written by Diablo Cody. I deleted immediately. Discuss.

I'm trying to learn Spanish at the moment and I thought to help make things a bit more interesting I'd start watching a lot more Spanish cinema. Does anyone have any cool suggestions?

I have something like a crush on her. Especially if she's looking/acting like she does in this picture. I got this picture from hipinion.com, while looking in from the outside. Speaking of which, does anyone here have a hipinion account? Or have the power to obtain one? It looks like an enjoyable place to discuss things. Yes or no, either case, let the world know what you think of Chloe Sevigny. Don't be too mean. She looks like a great person to hang out with. I could imagine going out with her and just chilling, no stress, for like years.

http://blogs.villagevoice.com/music/archives/2010/04/dont_believe_th.php# one Christopher R. Weingarten does a mildly entertaining high energy rant against internet. he sure delivers a few points… …but isn't this whole pop music thing losing much of its teenage identity struggle relevance to video games and other futuristic things anyway?

Ubuntu - pros - easy to use, comes with a lot of shit, packages are all pretty current, I don't really have to think about what I'm doing(until something breaks) cons - default themes/packages are ugly and fucked up, they fuck with everything and try to do it their way. Too many Ubuntards in the forums. Debian pros - a lot cleaner and straightforward than Ubuntu, very very stable. no compiling necessary, good community, low footprint. cons - packages are really out of date in the "stable" version, In the past I remember even not being able to find certain less popular packages in the testing versions. Gentoo Pros - portage, so flexible. Great selectio…

Phil Glowa 4-29-10 The Legacy Continues The presidential campaign of Barack Obama leading up to the 2008 election was a vigorous and inspiring one. He offered lots of ideas and got everyone all worked up to get the change going. It was looking good, if you know what I mean. But- oh look at that- Obama hasn’t changed much. You know? He was al like “hey guys we gotta change and hope and stuff” but funny enough...the guy isn’t changing much in the realm of foreign policy. He is practically continuing the Bush Administration. I guess the reason I am saying this is because of a recent turn of events. Recently, President Obama authorized the assassination of A…

UPDATE: Enough donations came in to cover the hosting costs until JulyTHE NEXT SIX MONTHS, so a big "thank you" to everyone who donated! Normally I foot the difference (if any) of the hosting bill each month minus the donations that have come in to cover the 40USD it costs to keep WATMM on a stable server where our mindless posting doesn't eat up so many CPU cycles that we get kicked off (as with past non-dedicated hosting). Some months I pay the entire bill. However, the Joyrex Family is on a strict budget, and recent car repairs, unforeseen expenses (thank goodness for some semblance of a savings) and having just paid all our bills and did the shopping does not …

Some guy on a forum I frequent who always exaggerates his topic titles(i.e that whole deal with North Korea and that sub he titled the topic as though a war is starting ) posted "BLINDNESS CURED!!" and linked here: http://science.slashdot.org/story/10/05/03/2341209/Gene-Therapy-Restores-Sight-To-Blind For someone who's not scientifically literate, is this a general cure or only very specific?
