i usually loathe horror remakes, the only 2 good ones i can recall were Dawn of the Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. this one looks to be pretty decent in terms of budget and acting. Timothy Olyphant has hopefully left his ego behind now that he hasn't become a big star, and the original was a severely underrated effort from George Romero my brother and i loved as kids. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEMZwQulT1Q i gotta throw in the original trailer because it's too hilarious http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5baVDcjv5-E

So all, or most, of the PS3 older "fat" models currently are not working properly. Can't log into PSN. Can't play any games that have DLC. Can't play any games that have trophies. The problem seems to have to do with the PS3s internal clock or something. When I turned on my PS3 the date and time was set to midnight december 31st 1999. Weird I know... Sony says they are working on a fix as we speak. They say they'll give us the solution as soon as possible. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/02/playstation-network-status-update/ This really sucks ass, as I just bought Heavy Rain a couple hours ago. Damnit I just wanna play it.

Shutter Island spoilers

ok this post is dedicated to spoilers, so if you don't want to spoil your movie experience, don't read. My idea of the movie is that there is 3 main hypothesis. 1.Either Dicaprio is crazy at the end of this movie : he is not a marshall anymore and has been around the island for two years. or you can think it in a more paranoid way. 2.Either Dicaprio is a marshall but he believes what the doctor say and fall into the frame-up's gears and eventually get crushed. 3.or Dicaprio is a marshall and he is still lucid at the end of the movie. You might think t…

I found the end to be incredibly disturbing. It stuck with me and haunted me. It's the stuff of nightmares. It was mainly the shot where you see Elliot's body in the background and Beverly is just shivering and whimpering all childlike "oh Elly... Elly... Elly...." I think I've finally managed to shake it off, took more than a day, I had trouble sleeping that night. The whole day yesterday it kept coming back into my head. I borrowed the DVD off one of my best friends. She bought it on a whim cos she likes Jeremy Irons. She didn't find the end disturbing in the slightest, she just thought it was good. I won't disagree with that, it was a brilliant film, but I …

"With the shelves finally ordered by size, function, and smell, he got to work separating the pine needles from the sawdust on the terrace." "Not on the grass, Sweetie. Never. On. The. Grass. See how much fun Daddy is having?" "The kitchen had been the source of so much unpleasantness." "For once in his life he was on the inside looking out. And for all his effort, there was no one to witness his arrival as an arbiter of culture." "Without the daily self-portraits, he feared he might disappear completely." Unhappy Hipsters

I'll be in London a few days for the week of the 15th and wanted to know of some reasonably good places to eat that aren't going to cost ludicrous amounts of money. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner, it doesn't really matter, even just a nice pastry shop or something. Basically I want to eat some tasty British food that I would likely not have had in Canada before. I'm sure Watmm has the answers!

Swing music. And Michael Buble.
by Guest Conor74- 18 replies
Michael Buble has just sold 45,000 tickets for a show in Ireland. In ten minutes. 45,000 pricks pretending to like swing music. It's shit. Just because Simon Cowell thought that Quinn kid was good a few years back is not a licence to like this stuff. 45,000 IT nerds trying hard to impress their girlfriends. Take drugs and listen to good music and be normal. Burn that fucking sports jacket too. Why don't earthquakes strike in the right places?

http://www.leinsterleader.ie/news/Green-Isle-strike-gets-dirty.5671781.jp That report a few months old, but strike continuing, seems like some have gone on hunger strike! Don't agree with picket breaking generally. But wonder did the unions clearly signal to the workers before this all started that they were running the risk of having their files, contracts and behaviour scrutinised? If not they may have made an error...

Hey fellas, I'm looking to clear out my ipod so I can change it up a bit, but I recently re-formatted my computer, so I'd like to first rip the music that's currently on the ipod to my hard drive. Anyone know any free programs that'll help me do this?
