HAH, the torch looked like like a scaled up feature of something that you'd find passing by on a float, whilst attending a harvest day parade in the main street of some small agricultural town. Replete with aluminium foil over the legs of the torch. It was this ghastly misshapen blob of a thing, thrown together for some purpose, that only the float committee and those that worked on it could divine. Being the best at a sport that only about 1 in a 1000 children could afford to practice isn't anywhere near the achievement of being the best footballer or basketball player.
