  1. 189K USD = 252K CAD so not far off (from the 271K in the article for family physicians).
  2. All very good points, and pretty much the way I'm looking at it too - thank you! I intend to take the challenge on regardless of the concerns. Even if in the short term I've drawn the short straw, it goes on the resume to increase my market value. Short term pain, long term gain. I'm just being greedy first world steve - I want constant pain constant gain lol. I'll report back in a few days ;0
  3. I've been told that, after about 3 years of banging my head against the wall dealing with managing my "equivalent" in another city, that they're likely consolidating the company's EHS function under me, province wide. Problem is, this was dropped casually in a conversation so I'm getting the impression they want to do so with no consideration for upping my comp & other benefits. Meeting for clarification tomorrow but worried I'm about to get shafted. Again.
  4. A cursory search on it says it does not log or retain any data. Is that trustworthy? " Increased online privacy When users enable the built-in VPN, they will create a private and encrypted connection between their mobile devices and a remote VPN server, using strong 256-bit encryption algorithms. When enabled, the VPN will hide the user's physical location and will make it hard to track their behavior on the Web. The browser VPN service is also a no-log service, which means that the VPN servers do not log and retain any activity data, all to protect users' privacy."
  5. That's all mushrooms other than the 4 strips of bacon! Couple slices of sausage underneath the cheese. Neverrrr! right? lol gotta hit my protein macro (oh god that's an easy setup for a cum joke isn't it)
  6. If you're interested at all, we should exchange workout notes, routines etc. Might help (me) to have a long distance w/o partner. ;p
  7. Homemade "Canadian" style pizza last night. Bacon, sliced smoked pork sausage, and sliced mushrooms we hickory smoked for an hour. Mozza only for cheese. Pretty basic but goddamn delicious.
  8. Yes. That is the autechre fan bros gaping their own holes to insert the sessions.
  9. This happened at my company years ago. Everyone knew who was stealing food. So once, someone literally made a shit sandwich and encircled the shit with tuna salad so the shit was centered so buddy would take a bite of it, hopefully not smelling the shit past the stinky tuna salad. The sandwich was stolen but we never heard anything as to whether buddy bit into it. The guy was eventually fired for drinking residual alcohol out of recycled wine bottles. Kinda sad. I had no part in any of that other than the firing of the employee, heard the story a year later.
  10. Savour the DOMS while you can, they won't be back again Funny thing that - I have been weight training on average about 3-4x per week since 2014. Goal is not muscle growth or size, typically total body workouts with cardio mixed in to maintain muscle mass + burn calories really. I do incrementally increase weight for most exercises. I still get DOMS. Every single week. Edit: in every muscle group other than shoulders. Never in my life have I had DOMS there. weirdness.
  11. edit: damn page break. very dali-esque I like very much, amazing.
  12. Back to front here, but I do so with a ritual handstand after each individual shite. Sweaty business and risky somewhat (handstand pre-wipe) but it's fun.
  13. I've had some warning signs of type 2 diabetes, which killed my dad at a young age. I'm freaking out a bit.
  14. I figured! I love tracks like that, Dark and Long = classic. I haven't kept up with all the Drift tracks unfortunately, but I'm certainly hyped hearing there are some classic style Underworld tracks in there. I think I'll try and give Threat of Rain a listen tonight. =)
  15. My name for it is 'Railroad Techno' as it reminds me of a train trundling along relentlessly but I'm guessing there's a proper name for it. Dark and Long Dark Train-chno
