  1. Holy shit this is awesone, sunken skies especially
  2. I like the fact that he only released one single for this album. It makes release day all the more exciting!
  3. It's on bandcamp now as well
  4. Jacquard is beautiful Paired with New Seeds and Come to Dust some of the best from ToH.
  5. I wonder why he thinks this release schedule is a good idea. Any quality his music has gets watered down because the good stuff drowns in a pool of filler albums. Last Aleksi album I checked out was Midnight Sun 1, which I liked. After that I gave up.
  6. I know right! Let the man work and have fun with the "youngsters". I am happy that he's seeing so much success after being in the game for this long. And the track he made with them, baby again... is fucking great btw
  7. I enjoyed Three Drums but I never returned to the track. I do really like Loved and imo this new track is great as well! I've always loved KH's clubbier shit so this hits the spot. I'm excited for the new album but im a little dissapointed by the fact that there are only 8 tracks, 3 of which have already been released. Everyone always has the same complaints when it comes to Four Tet around here. His music has always been like this so the changes arent recent at all. Everyone should enjoy some accessible beauty every once in a while.
  8. New album releasing march 15th. https://bleep.com/release/442597-four-tet-three Returning from London festival headlining spots last summer and off the back of new ones with friends just shared coming up in New York, Kieran Hebden drops the news we've all been waiting for, perhaps the most anticipated of his career: the new Four Tet album, Three set for release 15 March. Written and produced by Kieran Hebden. Photography by Jason Evans. Design by Jason Evans and Matthew Cooper. Track List Loved 4:03 Gliding Through Everything 4:08 Storm Crystals 6:40 Daydream Repeat 6:09 Skater 4:16 31 Bloom 5:52 So Blue 5:30 Three Drums 8:16
  9. I really like this one tbh. Better than Donda probably, it's a little rough around the edges but because of that the production sounds exciting. Not excusing his actions and or behavior but the album is kinda fire.
  10. Just got an e-mail saying the album wont release on streaming services initially. Good for you Tom!
  11. The tracks are growing on me. I find myself returning to them quite a bit. I do still definetely prefer garage Burial. I think Chemz was his best rave type track, I return to that one a lot as well and I like the progression more than with these newer tracks.
  12. Dreamfear has grown on me. The part from the 8 minute mark on especially. I don't really care for the second track all that much yet but the melodies are nice. The beat just sounds a little tinny I get what he was going for with the choppy, clunky flow of the tracks but he makes it a little too clunky I think. The beginning part of Dreamfear annoys me for that reason. He should drop that aesthetic
  13. Same SP is such a January artist. I associate all music I ever listen to with a certain time of year/ season. For some reason he hits best after the Christmas holidays.
  14. Regardless of the insanely terrible album cover Hello Everything is the best SP has to offer imo. Just the right balance of banger tunes and beautiful arrangements. The album is filled with some of his best work and it's a great introduction album to all of Tom's sound. I used to prefer Go Plastic but Hello Everything is just so much easier to revisit. Plotinus and The Modern Bass guitar are two of my all time favorites for sure. After HE he kinda lost me. I like JAS for Star Time 2 just like I enjoy 4001 on Ufabulum but the rest doesn't stand out to me, it sounds pretty grating at times. I don't even think I've returned to Damogen Furies in recent memory. Even tho BUAH has the same mixing problems/ grating sound quality as those other two albums it did manage to win me back over. Ended up loving the semi return to form. This new track really does sound even better and I really like thats its getting lauded on here as well. Cheers Tom! Still one of the best overall artists out there.
  15. Didn't know he went full jazz? Sounds nice. I dont remember thinking about this guy at all the last few years
  16. It's an hour long 12 track album?
  17. https://squarepusher.bandcamp.com/album/dostrotime-1
  18. That sounds fucking cool Harsh as shit
  19. Played BUAH in the car to work this morning. It's still quite lovely and a grower. Really curious what this is going to sound like. I wasn't prepared for SP to return! Also how is BUAH 4 years old already holy shit
  20. Fuck yesssss Is thomas pushing squares again??
  21. Cool artwork! I am not familiar with Jlin so I'll be checking this out.
