Speaking of bad people in black metal, the vocalist in Inquisition was caught with some Jeffrey Epstein-esque photographic material a while ago. I can listen to Burzum with a mental disclaimer but that is like 1000 bridges too far IMO

When I was a kid, these books were fucking incredible to me. Stephen Gammell, the illustrator is a fuckin boss. For a few summers, I'd stay in a cabin in Maine for a couple weeks and the setting made the books way scarier. I know there's a movie coming out based on these, but I don't have the highest hopes or anything.

Apparently my Mom, Aunt, and Grandma saw a this as a play a while ago and started laughing hysterically not too far into it. They pissed a bunch of people off and ended up leaving soon after. I totally understand now.

I think that new Earth album is ok. It needs Mark Lanegan vocals or something, like on Primitive And Deadly. An hour of Earth doing their usual desert soundtrack instrumentals gets a bit samey and bland without a little more flavor IMO

I knew someone in college who would always try to come across as the alpha male and when he would have a girl over, he would watch Dumb & Dumber and force loud “alpha male”(?) laughter and I can only imagine how awkward this was for a few girls who he never ended up getting with.
