This album seems very likely to appeal to all y'all iddumz lovers. Highly rhythmic and textural stuff. The preview track is certainly very evocative of the cover and Ae fans like myself will probably greatly enjoy this album from Anderson Chimutu. https://eternalsearchrecords.bandcamp.com/album/actuation Earlier this year he put out another album called Equipoise which may not be so slamming but still possessed of a great ear for those technorganic sonic details that many WATMMers love so dearly. Here that one here: https://hardreturn.bandcamp.com/album/equipoise

One of the first women to make it big as a producer and DJ in the world of techno/house and not just another diva. Totally inspirational figure. She was only 56

Sounds like some cool methodology behind the production and inspiration for this one. And I can certainly understand the comparison between them and Global Communication, they have some pretty solid stuff in their career, great atmospheres but not totally beatless.

Mr. G - The Forced Force Is Not The True Force (Childhood)
splesh replied to dcom's topic in New & Upcoming Releases
Rather fond of The Advent so why the heck not? I think I've heard and enjoyed some of his stuff before, too. Also, I always enjoy this particular kind of minimal techno meets deep house meets electro style. Now wishing I could have caught his show when he played here a few years ago. -

Doesn't hurt to ask, given yr display name shows you be a junglist

His channel's gone? Bummer. Maybe he'll get more of his tracks pressed to vinyl. I was kinda surprised when he started doing that. I still miss Luz1e's old soundcloud account as DJ Tabledance... I can't find her old tracks ? Is that you? Hi Phineus

Editions Mego Label Founder Peter Rehberg Dead at 53
splesh replied to Key's topic in Music Discussion
Fuck. This sucks, even besides his own compositions, dude really did some important work in bringing experimental electronic so called "computer music" to the masses. Mego might not be Warner Brothers but it did greatly expand the base of listeners for this kind of thing quite a lot- 20 replies

Oh fuck yes! Love Joe's music and the ideas behind this mentioned in the press release/blurb seem an interesting combination of things. This first song sounds great and I may just "blind buy" it based on the strength of this single and my enjoyment of his other releases. Thanks, damo!
