Scientology's new ad campaign

hey! get on board, it's the NEW scientology. yeah, forget all the bad parts like; giving us your life savings into perpetuity, cutting off all friends and family who are not believers, forcing children to work illegally long hours, turning Nazi experiments on Jews into an assault on modern psychiatry, worshiping a gay pedophile, and believing in the whole Xenu thing. this is your new friendly neighborhood cult! (oh yeah, and Tom Cruise is better than you)

"Parsons jerked off in the name of spiritual advancement whilst Hubbard (referred to as "The Scribe" in the diary of the event) scanned the astral plane for signs and visions."

"Money poured into the Foundations at an extraordinary rate; van Vogt later recalled doing little but tear open envelopes and pull out $500 checks from people who wanted to take an auditor's course."

"The evidence portrays a man who has been virtually a pathological liar when it comes to his history, background and achievements. The writings and documents in evidence additionally reflect his egoism, greed, avarice, lust for power, and vindictiveness and aggressiveness against persons perceived by him to be disloyal or hostile. At the same time it appears that he is charismatic and highly capable of motivating, organizing, controlling, manipulating and inspiring his adherents. He has been referred to during the trial as a "genius", a "revered person", a man who was "viewed by his followers in awe". Obviously, he is and has been a very complex person and that complexity is further reflected in his alter ego, the Church of Scientology."

Yep and if Jesus or Buddha or Mohammad had lived in 20th Century America, their FBI files would say exactly the same thing

I went to a Scientology protest outside the church in Boston a few years ago. It was lame as fuck. A Scientology priest type guy waved at me from the window, I waved back, :sup: . They also filmed us from the top floor of the building. I wonder what they did with the footage...
