Impeccable production. They smoothed out all the rough edges of Moon Safari and gave us peak professionalism. Some would argue that the rough edges gave the first album "soul" and "character" and that Talkie Walkie is more memorable, but I feel like there is more stuff going on this one. It's artsier and darker. I love it, even though the lyrics on electronic performers had first-time listeners quite vomiting on some tracks.

10000 Hz Legend for me too. Amazing album.

But I don't really know what they did after Talkie Walkie. I think they've turned kind of boring after 10000 Hz Legend anyway.

I remember some idiot at Future Music reviewing the album and being utterly appalled by the fact that the vocals near the end of Radio #1 cause the whole track to dip in the mix. Yes, yes they do - that's the whole point you prinkle.....

moon safari is best for me but i can completely understand 10000 hz as a favorite. so many good tracks. the only reason it's not my favorite though, is it's too "sweet" for me. it's like a dessert that's way too rich. i am fucking loving it the first few bites, but after that, i cannot eat any more, even though i really want to...

my main problem with moon safari is that it was overplayed. like, when it came out, you could call to any electronic music fan's house in ireland and it was 50/50 if it was on the stereo or not. so i got totally overexposed to it. then i went home and listened to premieres symptomes *hipster*

i think maybe it's due a re-listen; it's been ages.
