Okay. Let the qualification rounds begin!

 

You must vote for at least one topic in each section. I've tried to make the sections large and even, so as not to unfairly bias the voting for or against any topic.

 

As always, please take the time to read up on any topics you are not already familiar with.

 

The top 64 topics will go into the bracketology.

I should point out that the idea "Elevator music for the space elevator" was coined by Ten Fingers Ten Toes in a track he did for Project168 part 4

 

Think it would make an awesome watmm album concept.

Elevator music for the space elevator pulls in the lead, followed closely by Autechre writing and releasing a track called "18 (keyosc)", Birds photographed like they are people, and The Curiosity Rover landing on mars.

 

What's even more exiting is, to the best of my knowledge (and with the possible exception of Elevator music for the space elevator), these are all unheard of players. It looks like the field will be shaken up by strong new contenders this year.
