It's $1/loaf and it tastes way better than the middle-of-the-road store stuff. Making detergents (dish, laundry, etc) and castile soaps is really easy and cheap, just takes a few ingredients (baking soda, fels soap or something similar, washing soda, borax, essential oils if you need to impress the missus). Not sure if it really works. Someone should try it and let me know. I know if you put tin foil shiny side down on a hot grill and leave it for about 15-20 minutes, it pretty much cleans itself. Guest Iain C Posted June 18, 2013 Share Posted June 18, 2013 If you're struggling to clean a long, narrow drinking glass, simply push the sponge/dishcloth to the bottom with a fork and use that to twizzle it around. Also, if you're shaving or otherwise grooming yourself after a shower and the mirror is all steamy, splash some very hot water over it (don't just wipe it down - use a lot of water).
