I'm all for equal opportunities for everyone.


Although,.,,

I was queueing to get into a club on Saturday night, and the bouncers were holding the line whilst they sorted out the disabled access ramp for a woman in a wheelchair.

It took a few minutes to set up and was a bit awkward, the bouncers ended up lifting her up and over a door threshold.  No bother, all done.  She seemed to be relishing the attention.

But...

One of her friends in the queue in front of us told us she could of just stood up and pushed the chair in herself. 

Saw her again later on, in the middle of the dancefloor, swearing and going mad, making a scene because someone had obviously not seen her and spilt a drink.  She was very drunk (more so than I, that's why I remember it).  Some of her friends were laughing and taking pictures.
