  1. Fresh new mix, more jungle and old rave tunes: http://aiaiai.dk/blog/aiaiai-mix-008-luke-vibert Listening now, fucking excellent jungle tracks actually!
  2. I'm not sure, but I don't think I like this guy's work, but this track is top
  3. Don't get the "girls IDM" but not in a bad way I hope? I think it's quite the accomplishment, amongst my mates Wisp is one of the very few Rephlex / braindance artists that they are really into. Props for that.
  4. Rochefort is definitely one of my faves. Here's a list of what I've been up to as far as unique beers go (I only check in when I drink a beer for the first time): https://untappd.com/user/Baelberith
  5. The afterglow of the Legowelt gig from last night, which was him soundtracking found footage films. 50% was ambient, 50% was actually proper house like this one: Not sure if I like Lone as much as the older stuff, but I might as well pick it up anyway. Won't get much chances to buy her stuff anyway, unlike you, you lucky, lucky man but a cool story though, sounds like a pretty sweet deal you had!
  6. This made me lol irl, f'in brilliant
  7. Congrats BIOXLAT :) I always think that those "despites" actually contribute because when stuff like that happens, you're focus is not entirely on the interview anymore and you become less nervous.
  8. Jan an Ai Aso fan too? Brothers from another mother, I tell ya Do you have any of her records? I dearly cherish my copy of the Umerumonoizen LP, same goes for Chamomile Pool on CD. Haha, why doesn't this suprise me I only discovered her a couple of months ago, because of this session. I've been listening that practically every sunday, until I discovered that live DVD. So. Good. I was trying to figure out how / where to buy her music, but it seems that her stuff, except for Lone, is pretty rare. You have some exceptional rare ones though :)
  9. bad idea, you wanna shelve that notion Have to disagree with you there beerwolf, I agreed with your post about having metal fatique so to speak :) it's mostly reduced to occult rock / doom metal stuff (and very rarely some black metal). That's also the only stuff I can handle seeing live, like Jex Thoth / Earth / Sunn O))) / YOB / Pallbearer / etc. I used to be an avid follower of Fenriz's band of the week (suprising huh?) and his metal compilations but I really can't be arsed anymore (his new techno mixes are good though). As far as the "smashing everything to bits" state of mind, I really lost that too but once in a blue moon I return to it, but not through metal, more with things like Big Black or Rudimentary Peni. Just normal evolution I guess :)
  10. Not really a remix, more of an edit that they did back when they had their own radioshow (Disengage).
  11. That, and the 'chre themselves sometimes show up on here, doing the AAA for example :) Welcome to watmm anyway, good to have you!
  12. Yes, one of the freshest albums in years with amazing songwriting and production, the 'decision' to do it on tape was a great one, it really gives it a unique vibe. Nu, Syro and Colundi Sequence are my fave 2014 releases, can't narrow it down anymore although Syro is the one I listened to the least.
  13. Haha, well, he even has his own house mixes uploaded on soundcloud ! https://soundcloud.com/heavytassen
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97UIOInVUCk
  15. Fenriz disapproves 100% http://www.infinitelooper.com/?v=_aRu_3WvE6c&p=n#/70;79
  16. Except for that one time that someone on there predicted a new Aphex album + a new Clark album around the time they actually got released, long before anyone knew about :) but besides that, yeah, mostly useless I'd say.
  17. *wants to pre-order Amen Andrews EP + another Vibert EP* *checks Norman, no Amen Andrews spotted* *bums out, bows head and navigates to Blerp* *add both to basket, adds another few EPs/CDs, checks out* *order will be sent in three packages, so you pay three times the shipping costs* *Blerps out*
  18. Nice write-up :) did you send this to Fact Mag too? Because they were the ones posting it without credits? Only remark is that Aphex hasn't DJ'ed with vinyl since the early 00's. From 2002 or something he used a Vaio and from then on always used a laptop (I think mostly Mac now)
  19. TAYLOR SWIFT, NOISE ARTIST, RELEASES EIGHT SECONDS OF STATIC, HITS #1 IN CANADA http://animalnewyork.com/2014/taylor-swift-noise-artist-releases-eight-seconds-static-hits-1-canada/ MerzbowOfficial‏@MerzbowOfficial Who is taylor swift you are talking about?
  20. My fave Coltrane album. For some unknown reason it really chills me out. I happened to find a really cheap 12" with variations on it ( http://www.discogs.com/John-Coltrane-The-Mastery-Of-John-Coltrane-Vol-III-Jupiter-Variation/release/572141) and it's on par with Interstellar Space. Amazing stuff.
  21. That would be great man Ah, cheers for the link. I'm getting some hope from that. They posted here that a tracklist would follow but haven't seen one yet, maybe they're putting everything in one channel in one go. Hope so anyway :)
  22. Is this channel for real? Teaching baby's about delay with Aphex Twin? Is this real life?
