K pop is indeed awesome (though I prefer the Japanese flavor). Production is certainly a high point. I get a bit overwhelmed by the amount of girls in all these groups though.

three minutes it looks a lot like the "FLEX" thing by chris cunningham. black background, raging bull boxing sort of filming with sudden relative quiet, the way it stops and kind of locks in on the punches...

sounds like benny benassi, though. i guess she'll be doing chris clark tracks in another five years or so?

Yeah, it's a bit insane. Seems like niche thing in and of itself, like any other common Otaku interest.

I thought I was going to hate this single as soon as I heard there was a "dubstep" part, but overall it's a fairly tastefully produced track in a world of terribly produced top40 dance songs. This pissed me off though. Skim it if dare.

Kelis did a whole album with David Guetta and similar 4/4 types.

Reminds me of late '70s Diana where she would take a functional disco track and ELEVATE it. Britney couldn't elevate jack with that voice/phrasing. Kelis is a true diva.

I agree about what you said about Britney, she simply has a really weak and unoriginal voice and it does nothing to add to the track. She can have super slick production on the tracks, but it won't be more than bubblegum-pop to me. That Kelis track is good and she has a voice that works.

What I think Britney is strong at is adding breath and rasp, and cooing like a 16 year-old sex kitten for the mic (no :pedobear: ).

Compare the delivery by whoever sang this demo version, and you'll hear some of what Brit's singing style brings to the track:

It just sounds better w Britney singing it, despite this demo singer's attempts to insert the appropriate gasps and voice-breaking.

Soooo, the album came out today. Just got it off Amazon. Holy shit it's amazing. Best one yet, I don't wanna Jinx it but this will most likely be her peak album. If it can be topped, by all means....but I don't think it will happen.

i've never listened to a britney album in it's entirety . i just save the songs i enjoy... which isn't much. i love toxic though, probably her best.

Blackout is a good album, it was during the time she was going uber crazy, lots of druggy songs on there. Good production on i'd say half the songs. Others are pretty miss.

This track was the standout on that. Trent's best work ever. Justin + Trent + Maynard <3
