does anyone know how to turn avatars off? this damn site keeps changing

now i have a new problem. nobody told me how to turn avatars off

Just smoke a couple pissarettes and you're good to go. lol

new developments on that front which i have not announced until now. i hadnt pieced this together until recently, but when i discovered the wet clothing, it had no odor what so ever. i had just assumed i had pissed my pants, but now im starting to think, giving as i could have just peed anywhere in a bush, that i quite possibly passed out holding a beer lying down, and it poured out all over me. this also explains why my clothing was so fucking wet. now, if this is true, its obviously less gross than smoking piss, however smoking alcohol is probably a awful idea, possibly deadly even, i dont know, i havent googled it yet. this would also explain why i felt so fucked up the next day, heart palpitations, chest pains, anxiety, blood rushes to the head, etc. tell your friends!

booze piss is more likely to be odorless than actual booze.

really hot chicks that only do solo porn...

PAFF_0711_cutechick_chicks_article.jpg

jesus christ i don't even want to think about the kind of porn you watch

See, I figured I'd maximize lols (if any) by posting the picture without the sub-sub-Seinfeld commentary that I was thinking, ie, "why do guys call women chicks? 'look at that puffy peeping ball of fluff, aaaah yeah.' It's weird, right? Who are these people?" but apparently that plan backfired incredibly and now I just seem creepy. And thus a joke becomes a FWP.

To be honest, I hit 32 and now I don't even want to watch porn. I just want a hug, a nap, and a winning lotto ticket.

i wish i had working class parents. privileged fuck-ups don't raise good people. all the career advice i ever received from my parents:

dad: i left school, chose a job and did it! (photographer, then antique dealer funded by my mother went tits up when they divorced..10 years later he worked in tescos until state pension)

mum: do what you want, if you work in a guitar shop i'll be happy (this was when reverse-psychology was hyped she told me not to study law)

so i didn't bother with school or take choosing a career seriously

NOW I'M FUCKED

hah, I have working class parents, but they never really pushed me to study or anything because they couldn't afford to send me to uni (and they didn't tell me/weren't aware that I could get a loan for the fees); instead they sent me to a technical college where I learned some basic design skills and then weaseled my way into the print industry. Now, ~10 years later I'm working in publishing probably getting paid much less than what I'd be getting if I had a proper university design qualification..

i love the way that the term "solo" makes it sounds mildly sophisticated, like a classical music piece.

i can just imagine someone getting on stage at the proms and cracking one out.

I'm starting to understand why a lot of my older friends are cynical fucks who never seem to get excited about anything anymore. I'm sick of getting overexcited about a potentially awesome change in my life (mostly career or relationship related) and then having it not work out the way I wanted. I dunno how to stop it though; I'm generally a pretty excitable person.

I'm pretty excitable myself, and for a while I went through a very cynical nothing-excited-me-always-at-the-same-level phase, and honestly, I'd rather take the extreme ups and downs, the excitement, buildup and pain than the mild depression and boredom that cynicism introduced. My thirst for life has actually grown in the last year or two since embracing that life will be full of ups and downs, good and bad shit, and it's best to just roll with it.

I've forgotten some basic arithmetic.... Can someone explain to me why (-4h/(x+h)x)/h is -4/x2h ?

I understand that when you divide out the same variable it = 1... IE -4h/h is simply -4. However the way the question is written is (-4h)

--------------

(x+h)x)

--------------

h

(those are division lines btw).

Can someone explain the simplification steps?? Btw I'm supposed to be finding the derivative of (4 - 4 / x ) using the limit (h ---> 0) method, that's why I have the above question.

are you sure it's supposed to be

-4 / x²h

instead of

-4 / x² + h

?

because I can see how to get to the latter

Whoops! That's what I meant to write, the second one is more correct.(x+h)x expands to (x^2 + xh but xh) = zero as h approaches 0 (limits and all that noise)

But I still don't understand the steps to divide (-4h)

--------------

(x+h)x

--------------

h

IE why does the top h and the very bottom one cancel out instead of dividing the bottom h out of the middle term (x+h)x

because:

-4h / (x + h)x / h

=

-4h h

______ ÷ ____

(x + h)x 1

=

-4h 1

______ . ____

(x + h)x h

=

-4h

______

((x + h)x)h

=

-4

____

(x + h)x

and so on... I don't recall lim/derivative shit particularly well but I'm guessing that, as you said, when you expand the denominator to

x² + hx

the "hx" part just becomes "h" as the lim approaches zero.

I hated that asymptotic bu'shit.

AH!

That makes sense. Thanks man. I don't know why I couldn't piece that together! lol

=)

daily living budget is $3 so it'll be a while before I make sum pulled pork

pulled pork is awesomely cheap though!

A 12lb pork loin from Costco is $23. Throw in some bullseye bbq sauce and slow cook that bitch and you've got lbs and lbs of meat. I know the bullseye route isn't like gourmet or anything but it'll do. ;)

I just meant like... if you make it ahead of time and freeze it then it's pretty cost effective per serving.

sorry =(
