if skrillex is IDM... i think ill join my friend in the grave. the term IDM is "IDM" ...THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS IDM. Its music, tunes, beats, artists, producers..not "intelligent dance muziq" and just looking up "IDM" i get ...internet download manager..so what are your fav download managers? sorry skrillex being in the same genre as autechre...no thank you, not in this world

 

Everybody knows Skrillex isn't IDM, he's Complextro.

 

Complextro is like IDM on steroids. There are at least 3 or more parts to each song, unlike dubstep where there are only 2(dirty bass and non dirty bass).

If you thought Mt St Michel was complicated, just wait until you hear Complextro.

 

I'd say Complextro is the most IDM thing, except it's too complicated to be associated with IDM.

most idm thing in 2011 surely was "hello" by solveig. trackname associates with similar to "welcome" by monolith. so obviously Martin Solveig = Dave Monolith = Skrillex = Richard.
