Now that I think of it, I've interviewed at multiple schools where the school day starts between 7:30-7:45 and teachers are in the building by like 6:45. When I was in primary school the day would start between 8-10am depending on the day of week, but I guess teachers would start their day always at the same time. Probably at 8am. The length of day would also vary between 4 and 6 hours. In "high school" the day could start as late as noon, but that really depended on how your courses were arranged and it wasn't that common.
