  1. The SoundCloud downloader chrome extension broke. I could record in Audacity(and probably will), but is there a better solution out there?
  2. So, maybe a weird question. Has anyone else received the “Vortrack” vinyl? I just realized I hadn’t received my copy from RedEye, and they replied that they hadn’t even gotten theirs. Maybe I missed this earlier upthread.
  3. I really hope they can get some of those remixes happening. I'd love to see a Lone mix as well.
  4. Getting back on the horse. Another acid track, but I'm really happy with the way the 303 sounds.
  5. Drunk was amazing. This song is alright, but I'm looking forward to the full album.
  6. So the Lifeforms re-issue came and went, but it seemed like this never happened?
  7. This is a beautiful record. TBH I don't think I've heard much yet that I recognize. I think that speaks more to me not knowing enough about bw than anything, but good grief is this thing lush. Edit: Ah, well there's one. Melodie d'Aout - Extended.
  8. Fucking Brace Yourself Jason. 10/10
  9. I have such a massive weakness for Minimal Wave/Italo stuff, so this is completely my shit. I said it before, but I also really like the clean sound.
  10. Pretty happy with this one. I thought about adding more to it(like a lead or something), but I kind of like that you can hear the Clouds module in the background.
  11. Skee Mask mix slaps. Reminds me of when Photek was still good.
  12. Solid track. I really liked the acoustic sounding drums. I feel like you could use this setup to make a really good ambient track as well.
  13. It's really interesting to hear krautrock that isn't steeped in tape saturation or otherwise aged. I really enjoyed this. Very hypnotic.
  14. Yeah, I picked out the notes on the Stone in Focus cover without consulting a midi file or anything, so it's not a %100 cover. I sort of realized I had picked out part of the melody and then just started harmonizing. Thanks for the feedback. I'll take a look and see if I can bring the drums out more. They have a little compression as-is, but I like the idea of sidechaining. And yeah, it's hard not to fiddle when I feel like I have a good bassline going. If anything, I cut out some parts where I felt the track was getting repetitive. I think I'll take another pass at this one...
  15. Last week I scored an Alpha Juno for $30. Got home and made a cover of Stone in Focus to celebrate.
  16. Weekly schedule fell by the wayside, but I'm happy with this little acid track I made today.
  17. Curious about this as well. I've had an MPC 2500 for a few years, but getting it to play nice with Ableton is a chore. The price tag is pretty high, so I'm still holding off for now.
  18. https://soundcloud.com/tramic I'm also going to go back through this thread and browse a bunch of stuff and follow via soundcloud. I'm still a little bummed that they got rid of groups. The WATMM group was really handy back in the day.
  19. I've had some additional time on my hands lately, so I wanted to challenge myself to finish a track a week. I'm 4 weeks in now, so it sounds like a good time to share some to help keep me motivated. I'll post additional tracks here for as long as I keep this up. For now, here are the latest weekly shares: Week 1: Week 2: Week 3: Week 4:
  20. I only just got to the bonus EP. These are amazing.
