i havent found any cage compositions that i like. "random words" and 422 and bad jokes

I highly suggest his "Bacchanale." It was the first piece ever written for prepared piano (in fact, prepared piano was invented for the piece), and it's a brilliant dance number composed for Merce Cunningham. In addition, I also suggest works such as "Suite for Toy Piano" and "Imaginary Landscape No. 4."

i heard suite for toy piano performed by one of his students. it was very uninspiring. the only prepared piano pieces i've like that i've heard is aphex twin and coil's stuff.
