Aphex Twin "tech-y" kind of interviews.

Hey, sorry if this is the ultimate idiot noob question, but does anyone know of a good interview/s where Richard goes into the details of the kind of equipment he uses? It seems every interview I've read, the interviewer is more interested in his tank or whatever it is that he drives around then his actual music. Am I just being stupid?

By the way, I'm not trying to imitate his style or anything, I'm just kind of interested in nerdy stuff like that.

There's the Analogue Heaven posts.

He posted on a board under the name of Panflet for quite a while. Went in depth about alot of the equipment he owns.

Search panflet. He signs off by Eric.

one of his posts (in july 2004) he slips up and signs off as Richard

p.s. I love that anytime he is looking for a piece of gear he makes offers only people with lotsa cash make... i.e. "whatever it is I'll give you more than you paid for it"

p.p.s. there was also that long post he made on the mu board under "analord". the guy is passionate when it comes to the subject of analogue gear

"Apart from electrocuting yourself what possible way could you kill

yourself with an analog synth?

Ive got a rack of modular behind my head and the shelf looks pretty

sketchy ,id hate to die under a load of modules.

Maybe you could make up an elaborate modular patch to die..killed by an

envelope generator with a really long attack."
