yeah, if they were gonna wink wink it at the comic readers, they should've gone all the way; had him grab a spoon in a menacing way and then just open a jar of jelly and taste it.

And yes, the governor is poorly characterized, not because it's different to the comic governor but because his motives aren't clear at all and his actions make no sense.

Guest Blanket Fort Collapse

Doesn't being impossible to understand, irrational and generally terrifyingly unpredictable make a character more super cray cray?

That being said, I'm sure his motives and mentally will be more thorougly drawn out in the next few episodes, I would only assume.

I'm back on board with this show.

yeah, i was never too much a fan of twd but this season has been a pretty big improvement so far, I mean it still mostly feels like dumb entertainment but at least now it's entertaining

It's probably better since they're sticking a little closer to the comic...

The governor wants to bring his daughter back to life and he wants to be the guy that's responsible for curing the zombie virus. He's also a closet necrophiliac/zombiephiliac. He gets off on being the most important guy in the world for everyone in his community, despite having the zombie herp. That said, Merle is a much better villain.

The little girl is his daughter, calm down sassy mouth.

In the comic, it's assumed that he's sexing her.

In this show, I don't think this whole apocalypse scenario changed Michonne at all. She was always unecessarily angry and stand-offish even when she was working at J.C. Penney's.

That totally happened in Beyond Re-animator.

Which you should probably not watch.

i've seen it. re-animator is great. i seem to have forgotten that scene though. everything in beyond re-animator is overshadowed in my mind by the hilarity of the scene where the junkie shoots up the fluid.

Too bad this next episode is yet again the mid-season finale. Wont be getting more episodes until early spring like last year I presume.

It is implied (by her behaviour) that she moonlighted at JC Penny's.

So...
