Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein

seriously? The production is great, but the rapping on a couple of the tracks annoys the shit out of me. Raspberry fields = fuck's sake maaaaan

"This is the next lifetime and you wanna battle? Either you like reincarnation or the smell of carnations."

"Smoke bubblegum while munchin' on Milanos"

lol, if there was an indie hip hop karaoke bar, Raspberry Fields would probably be the song I would mc/sing to. That's actually my favorite track on that album, hahah!

I have to turn it off after track two. If it weren't for Iron Galaxy I'd have deleted it. But I keep it hanging around in case it clicks with me some deay.

No mention of Pet Sounds? Or did I skip a page?

My personal favourite is Biosphere - Substrata

I'm not too hot on one track, but I'd never skip them as you have to listen to the album as a whole.

some of you will probably turn your nose up and claim its clownstep or something, but Hold Your Colour by pendulum is as solid as a rock and girls are more likely to like it cos it has singing. and we all like girls, dont we ?

ive recently been introduced to death from above 1979 and they've taken over practically all of my listening time. Your a Woman, I'm a Machine is fucking wicked. simple as that. and its also made me pick up my bass again, so amen to that.

from dfa ive gotten some mstrkrft and The Look is a fucking killer. its exactly what im looking for right now. ive just bought a bcd2000 so this is gonna be getting a few hands on digital spins when it arrives.

viva la musque!

hooray for music

Great album, but no miss? How can you listen to "Kill Ya' Momz" or "My Name Is Strange" without pressing the skip button?

Now for my contribution:

Manitoba - Up in Flames

Cujo - Adventures in Foam

Odd Nosdam - Burner

Radiohead - Kid A

DJ Shadow - Endtroducing...

Subtle - For Hero: For Fool

BoC - MHTRTC (although sometimes I have a problem with Turquoise Hexagon Sun)

Almosts:

cLOUDDEAD - Ten (Rifle Eyes, what a shit song)

Black Moth Super Rainbow - Dandelion Gum. This could end up being one of my favortie albums, but Lollipopsichord is obnoxious. They put it on their previous album as well, unfortunately, this one is a shorter, yet even less interesting version. Also, what's up with them and repeating certian songs throughout their albums?
