The way the tracks are mixed together I guess ....

From Fact Magazine about the mix:

Squarepusher doesn’t exactly knock out mixes with regularity, so a new session from the LED fetishist is always worth a gander.

The mix is something of an autobiographical retrospective, assembling an array of Squarepusher tracks ranging from 1996-2006. Cuts from Big Loada, Feed Me Weird Things, Go Plastic and Hello Everything are all repped, as is, of all things, a Funki Porcini remix.

The mix arrives courtesy of BLOC Festival, who will host Squarepusher at this weekend’s landmark shindig.

hmmm..... is this really from Tom? While the sound is excellent and the tracks are fantastic.... as a "mix" it ain't the best. theres onlyan tiny bit of mixing really.

At least VLR did an amazing job of mixing a ton of tracks on his "his fucking sound" mix.......and for my sequel mega-mashup mix I at least tried to layer and mix tracks together in a coherent way. (start

.... it gets better further in!)
