yes, fuck yes.

i agree with lala - someone make a GUI version real soon pls, cus 99% of people are not python coders.

as for the eyes on DMT thing, why not? makes more sense than reptiles and machine elves right?

also check this, so far not great news for non programmers

Watmm. Please make this happen. someone must be able to do something. im salivating at the arty potential

+1. And +1 for the audio idea too. My body is ready. Gonna have another look at those links later but I fear figuring out how to make anything meaningful with those tools as they are will be beyond me

On the upside, I'm naked, and my octagon is ready.

lol

i guess to address the rest of your post, people will still get heavy into the dmt world and all that, it's just that psychedelic art will become more normalised and accessible, possibly opening people's minds to new things?

Is there any form of 2-d non-moving art that is deeper and more ultra-path significant than true psychedelic art from those who "are experienced"? I dunno, man... Holograms are pretty amazing, though, which is why I wanted to make my own several years ago. So then I did a shitload of research, and to do proper holograms, one needs several hundred pound immovable tables and shit, which is not worth it... for now.

Still, holograms are some of the most next level shit of all time. I'm talkin' hardcore immersive 2-d holograms-- none of this projection of 2Pac bullshit.

Deeespite Google-tech being able to produce legit-trippiness, I suppose there will always be room for artists like MARS-1 and Alex Grey. ...that is, until machines are able to view chakras, etc.

peace7, people who love to gaze at google's pop art are the same people who buy tighty whiteys, because they feel so good on the buttocks

do you really want to touch those people?

Well, I like to look at some of Google's trippy computer generated imagery, so I might buy some tighty whiteys and touch my own butt.

only one guy i've seen so far figured out how to put his own database into it. he said on twitter 'its challenging to get this to not do dog and bird heads and eyes but i think i've figured it out'

I figured out an easy way to get these images, but maybe a female can tune-in on the woman version. Anyway:

Step 1: Flatten penis and put into floppy disc drive.

Step 2: Run Skynet.exe on at least Pentium II (or SkynetMac for PowerPC 604e processors)

Step 3: Wait about 35 minutes for application to output a high-resolution, 640x480 image

Step 4: ICQ up Jerry or Yolanda to message on how cool your trippy image looks, and maybe send a 160x120 e-mail version

Step 5 (advanced only): Auto-fellatio to orgasm to experience feedback loop of God

Step 6: Go to chiropractor or yoga class to sort out your back and neck, because you weren't nearly advanced enough for Step 5

dogs (and pagodas) are mainly what this particular AI was 'fed' with to prime it.

now the source code is available it should be possible to feed it with other stuff but it's time consuming to do.

porn

part of the inherent problem in this is that i think a lot of programmers who are playing with the code aren't necessarily artists, only one guy who compiled the code that I saw put his own database into it (and they still look pretty similar in style to even the dog fish ones)

its a matter of time before Google images as a whole is jacked into this shit, im looking forward to alien languages compiled of different fonts and amalgamations of different alphabets. The real fun will be when you can have a depth modifier, how much it creates 'relief' of patterns its detecting, and ability to fine tune the entire pool of images it uses.
