I fucking also fucking love Stereolab, fuckin'.

Fuck yeah, I'ma motherfucking necro a stereolab thread or start a fucking new one myself so we can talk about stereolab 'n shit.  They've got such an immense catalog too that dem fucking cucks donnae even kno the haf

Bibio

Mouse On Mars

Machinedrum

Prefuse 73 (some of his later stuff is not so great obviously)

Shed

I vaguely recall reading somewhere (dunno if true) that warp were close to signing Trevor instead of Prefuse back in 2000-01... blows my mind to see such a shift in fortunes and styles with these guys.  I wonder if they've ever collaborated.  Speaking of which was there ever a collab between Machinedrum and MoM?  I think there was a facebook pic of them snorting coke together a while back but haven't hear shit since (causality noted)

And yeah I need to check out Shed, heard good things about him and probably a track in a mix here or there, but never actually checked out any of his works.

There were two Mouse On Mars/Machinedrum collabs.

Machinedrum and Prefuse 73 did a collab EP a few years ago, but it never saw the light of day due to licensing issues. One song got out.

Shed's pretty awesome. He uses a ton of aliases. Mixes techno, house, ambient, breaks and IDM into his own blender. Here's an incomplete playlist of some favorites:
