Guest
More notably European countries have carried the burden of potential war with the Warsaw Pact/USSR and now Russia. I remember seeing a vid of Putin when missile defense machines were installed by US at our Poland base. He was like, 'they say it is missile defense, but it is really one piece of an overarching offensive strategy.' I detest that man, but he has some serious skills. Methinks China feels the same way about THAD in South Korea.
hello spiral
I like Rogan, but he has some questionable friends. Rogan's biggest fault is ironically his objective ethos. He's let on left-wing people and given them equal opportunity. If he coupled his openness to let anyone on with far more hard-hitting and thorough questions and discussion I would have no qualms with who he lets on. I think unfortunately he's enabling certain questionable guests and their questionable audiences more than even he realizes. He's like a bro enlightenedcentrist Who are the left-wing people he has had on there? Seems to me he just has every flavor of right-wing over there to speak? Giving a platform to these people is reprehensible. he's had Abby Martin on a few times shit, that's the only one I can think of offhand - he does seem to have right-wing nutters on more often The only one I've watched in full was with ex-Guardian journo Jon Ronson when he was promoting his book about internet public shaming. He's def not a right wing nutter. It's a very good one I recommend. They play some old footage of a young Alex Jones taking Ronson to the Bohemian Grove, or at least attempting to sneak in

Oh crimea river, he's literally projecting the same shit Russia is doing in it's proxy allies - he is making a factual point, yes, but that doesn't warrant any kind of credibility or upper hand policy wise. It's political spin around more nuance shifts in military standoff policies. you are absolutely right that Americans don't think of the opposite perspective towards American deployments in countries like China or domestically within allied countries like Poland or South Korea, but there's a duality to it. Putin deserves to be taken seriously and acknowledged as intelligent but those skills don't warrant respect, they deserve recognition. It's still astounding to me that we have elected officials complimenting him or kowtowing to the DPRK. Edited March 11, 2019 by joshuatx

Rubin Farr
Fucking pathetic! Republican strategy going forward seems to be: keep the public confused, the more confusion, the better. Confusion feeds into fear, and scared conservatives will then rely on their Party for the "real news", as Trump has groomed them. Hopefully, someday a Republican President, or even candidate, will bring some reality back to their party, or they will fracture. https://www.salon.com/2019/03/05/republicans-launch-propaganda-sites-designed-to-look-like-local-news-outlets/

Rubin Farr
Trump seriously wants almost $9 billion now for his wall that will never exist? Seems like another shutdown looming. How about securing the Canadian border as well?
Brisbot
I really think Trump doesn't care about the wall. He is just virtue signalling for his base. He didn't even address the wall for the longest time until he was reminded and shown that he might only be president for another year.
