this endless obsession with elon musk is a weird shit imo

it is bizarre. he's not that interesting but a bunch dipshits think he's edgelord science guy saving the planet and owning the libs or whatever the fuck. i find it all pretty scammy in a silicon pump and dump hype cycle kind of way.  i enjoy the shitting on elon type videos and "why is this tesla thing so stupid" stuff... thumbnails are tolerable to get to the goods sometimes.. but i try not to occupy my time w/it unless it's really funny.

We all know Elon is one of the wealthiest people on the planet, and he would remain so even if Tesla were to renege on the commitment we made in 2018. Elon is not a typical executive, and Tesla is not a typical company. So, the typical way in which companies compensate key executives is not going to drive results for Tesla. Motivating someone like Elon requires something different. This is one of the key reasons the Award also requires Elon to hold any shares he receives upon exercise of stock options for five years after he exercises the options — which can only serve to incentivize him to continue delivering value to Tesla and our stockholders. - Robyn Denholm (chairperson of the board @ tesla)

What a clown show of a company. The shorts were probably right, but they underestimated how easily frothy wall street bros and investment banks can continue talk themselves into anything at the promise of profit.

Also, the “stay informed” warning makes zero sense.

Its fake and thats why the account got suspended as per the manipulated media policy. The point of the 'stay informed' warning is to flag it as manipulated media.

Imagine making your personality revolve around how much money you can give to a multi-billionaire.

what a piece of garbage.

Not saying its not a clown car but towing is not what broke the back of that cybertruck. They dropped the back of the truck straight onto concrete

lols. what a bunch of asshats. still sus. wish they'd taken some more close up video of the back after this drop onto concrete. also, seems like they were not in the "off road" ride height mode i've seen in other reviews of this truck. that might've prevented the concrete impact.

also, i wonder if that is still considered a failure of engineering? is that typical of a car's/truck's frame? to break like that? i know frames bend all the time in accidents or get twisted etc.
