i have this idea whereas this thread starts with an image posted, then the next poster comes in and says the first word or phrase that comes to mind, effectively captioning the picture. after doing that, they post a new picture for the next poster to come in and caption. undoubtedly, there will be some tangential links between pictures/captions and the next pictures given the way that the human mind works. i've got one hell of a picture to start you guys off, so have at it:

Reportedly, he had 5 unpublished manuscripts in his files that he refused to publish because of his disdain for the publishing industry and perhaps the world in general. Hopefully those will see the light of day.

WATMM YLC ideas (different ways of distributing/listening)
by Guest joshier- 1 reply

First idea; a watmm podcast featuring all the tracks in YLC, I don't think it's too hard to make. Every 1/2 months would encapsulate all of the new tracks into a single podcast. I wonder if there's an automated process that could do this. Second; A radio system like KVR audio ( http://www.kvraudio.com/music.php ), it's an automated system that takes the url links and plonks them in the player. It scans for new songs by urls to mp3's. pretty cool.

So if you guys have any questions, I strongly encourage you to e-mail these experts so they can solve them for you and other people with simil…

This pisses me off. I spent years building a studio in my house, then this guy goes and builds one that looks exactly like it.

ive been hearing this girl all over the place [youtubehd]4OKlzm6BQ8A[/youtubehd] [youtubehd]_Sr_BWT1OsU[/youtubehd] [youtubehd]RpFMuBHxGWs[/youtubehd] the lyrics http://www.azlyrics.com/k/keha.html "Don't be a little bitch with your chit chat Just show me where your dick's at" "There's a place downtown Where the freaks all come around It's a hole in the wall It's a dirty free for all" where to begin... the obnoxious artist name, the singing about gloryholes to the tune of bubblegum pop music, breaking and entering at the Prince residence or vomiting in paris hiltons closet...

Stephen Fry 1 2

Yes, it's true, he has some good stead in modern British culture (Blackadder, Jeeves, QI), but has the new messiah that is Stephen Fry become overexposed? A couple of years ago I was somewhere between Indifferent and Like. I respected his opinion, enthusiasm and his personal backstory was intriguing. I can't pin-point, but in recent months he seems to have become an angrier, more arrogant, figure and I've actually begun to dislike him. I resent the opinion that he's become the font of knowledge for British culture and that for some reason his opinion is worthy of mass distribution. Fuck Twitter too.

for years now, ive searched and searched, for something in life that feels real. ive looked everywhere to find meaning in life, and i always end up disappointed. i see value and goodness in simple things, yet it never seems enough. im constantly wondering, what is this? why do i exist? well, more and more, im finding the answers to that question, and i end up finding myself more confused than i was before. i just cant find meaning in life. im not happy. i used to be happy, i used to live like i enjoyed my life, yet thats now somehow escaped me. i spend the majority of my time trying to "figure it all out", but the more i figure, the more confused i am...there is no end …

Music from 1967 and earlier 1 2

I'm attending a Murder Mystery party this Saturday and it's set in "the swinging 60's, the summer of love, 1967". It's going to be pretty funny. There are some clever riffs on famous 60's icons, Lord Michael Jagged (the rockstar), Wiggy (the model) and Oliver Deer (the actor) are a couple of guests. I'm a wine-critic, so I'll gradually progress into a raging drunk by spitting my wine into a bucket (as I usually do anyway). I've got a mop-top wig lined-up and hopefully a comical 'tache to accompany my wino-red nose and snooty manner. But anyway, I've been put in charge of the playlist so I need some songs from 1967 and before, but obviously with a 60's feel. I've got a…

I can't give much info. It was quite lengthy (many parts). The host was (I assume) English (at least i gathered as much from his accent). It was very thorough, and went to many museum's and had lots of detail throughout it's sections, and iirc, was a great series. Saw it in 2001 in my class "Art and Music in Western Culture". It was all basically European art. I've been really wanting to see it again. Yes I have tried googling, and youtubing. thx.
