I wish it was more than just vamping but it's very detailed and I like it more now than when I first heard it
-
I hear it. It's high frequency noise that sounds like a hi hat pattern, maybe crosstalk of some kind
-
Well spotted and also thanks for keeping this thread updated

Boards of Canada Boards of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest
joew replied to Alzado's topic in Boards of Canada
the last 30 seconds of transmisiones ferox could have been the intro to like an 8min track imo. Whatever wind instrument that is, the melody is insanely on point and beautiful Also, the chopped vocal on sick times sounds a lot like the sample in Whitewater. Maybe it's just the distortion. Does anyone else hear that? -

to be fair, its not exactly hard to make a simple drone last for whatever duration you want. I regardless like the track, im sure it would feel nice loud on a good system -
is that organ one of those e70's? how programmable is it? also how is that vermona reverb?

Quasimoto - The Further Adventures of Lord Quas Autechre - Tri Repetae A Tribe Called Quest - Low End Theory Tranquility Bass - The Bird Radiohead - Kid A Jaylib - Champion Sound J Dilla - Jay Stay Paid, Ruff Draft My Bloody Valentine - Isn't Anything, Loveless Mira Calix - One On One Sparklehorse + Fennesz - In The Fishtank 15 Public Enemy - Yo! Bum Rush The Show KRS One - KRS One amazed to find tri repetae in the record store i went to. surprised to find the "The Bird" single. wish I could find cantamilla or they came in peace. I loved Let The Freak Flag Fly. bought kid a for the sake of owning it on vinyl, curious to try listening to it in a different way. fennesz/sparklehorse record side a is real good, side b less so with the boring acoustic guitar pieces. excited to listen to the mira calix album and the my bloody valentine stuff. somewhat disappointed with ruff draft (wasn't quite expecting so much of the "i have money" variety of topics to rap about). the quasimoto album is pretty good.

Chaos Theory's soundtrack is really good I used to play The New Tetris, a N64 tetris game, it had a soundtrack by this guy Neil D. Voss who has also done soundtracks for other games (Tetrisphere, another tetris-based game, and some GBA racing game that was sort of obscure); here's a song from the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G23MqJkzOI
