Merry Covidmas-19! How unrecognizable can we make it instead of just letting go of the past?

i had christmas dinner with someone. i brought a nice white wine. she didn't have a corkscrew so we tried to open the bottle with an electric drill & then to break it open with a hammer. and then we ended up leaving it on the curb for someone to find, full bottle with a half destroyed cork & a big screw sticking out of it

For future reference, you can push the cork in, or try the shoe trick.

I actually spent a week around the Christmas with my family in a pretty good isolation up north. But now it looks like I'm going to be celebrating the New Year's Eve alone at home tomorrow. That has never happened in my life. jfc

Now that I really went through the past NYEs I possibly spent the '97/'98 NYE alone at home for reasons.

Lately I've been spending new years eve alone. The worst one I had was with my friend and his gf at a party that I knew no one and I was sober. I enjoy my new year's, in solitude, contemplating and reminiscing. I've had awesome years too but yeah being alone aint that bad.

Haha, this reminded me that last time I wasn't hungover on the first day of the year was probably in 1998.:cisfor:
