Mmmmmm potatoes. Slices of preboiled potato on pizza with the cheese melted over them is heaven.

Havin a small, slow brunch of butter & marmite on toasted rye bread, bowl of sliced banana & peaches with a little whipped cream on top and a double tea bag cup of PG Tips with full fat milk

VEGETARIAN BAHN MI!

I'm curious; what was the pork substitute?

Oh shit, sorry - I missed this post.

So here's what was in the bahn mi:

Great amounts of coconut/peanutbutter creme, there's some sesame mayo in it as well, and do chua (pickled carrot and daikon). Tons of coriander, cucumber, hoisin-peanut-dip, fresh chili, avocado, ginger creme, red cabbage, and something else that I'm forgetting.

Most bahn mis I've had have been fairly dry but these are GOOOOOOD.

I was inspired by a Danish chatmmer and his very healthy looking dinners so I did a copycat one.

Rye bread, thin spread of butter, semi-hardboiled egg, sliced tomato, fresh basil, salt and pepper

Next up you should make boil some potatoes, slice 'em up, put them on some rye bread with some mayo, tons of salt and pepper, and some cress.

Like this?

edit: holy crap that was delicious!

Just had an Ike's sandwich - "The Handsome Owl": Vegan breaded chicken, Teriyaki, Swiss, Wasabi mayo.

Wasabi mayo is the fucking shit.

Now onto a green tea.

Last night before bed I made two avocado sandwiches with chili mayo and sriracha. I ate them in bed while watching The Bachelorette with my girlfriend. I fucking hate that show. But the sandwiches were awesome. Also, I didn't brush my teeth afterwards.

I passed a Banh Mi place yesterday on the way to pick up something I ordered.

If that specials board outside caught your eye, it caught mine too.

When I passed it again on the way back my feet took me straight in there.
