occasionally i think that RDJ has actually run out of good tracks, and all his unreleased stuff is unreleased because it's arse.

then i remember trk 1 & 8 from AB5 and i slap myself !

Does anyone think that if RePhlex was willing to release AB5 as a oops-we-f'd-up freebie that they might give it a proper release some day soon? Or is it more likely they had 20 promo copies sitting around and decided to get rid of them?

is it well-known that they sent out AB5s to compensate for late analords? because that story sounds like the deepest of bullshit to me.

rephlex DOES strike me as the sort of company that would say, like, HAY, this order is late, let's have grant draw them some stick figure cartoons to make it all better. free records might be a little too straightforward...

I have the original melodies from mars cassette in my basement underneath a dripping bottle of bleach. I dont like it much, i think i'll recycle it soon.

Are there any special markings that distinguish the original AB5 from the re-"released" one?

not that i have any clue about this, but isn't it from the same pressing anyway?

I was just gonna make a thread about this.

I have it on watch. Probably going to go up too high for me. I wish they would release this. Some of my fav afx tracks.

I think I read somewhere that the Analord batch were from the same pressing.

The last copy I saw on ebay was probably about a year and half ago and it went for $600 which is kinda low considering some copies of ART2CD go for $400+
