Guest mikew5th Posted August 23, 2009 Share Posted August 23, 2009 at first i thought animal collective's new one was really good but then i heard grizzly bears newest (awsome live show at the pabst from this tour too) and i've read on some other places that they say this album is but that was before i heard the new megafaun - holy shit all tiny creatures - also awesome but now i've downloaded the new single from volcano choir, sounds amazing, this might be the album of the year what is your fav of this year so far? Dan C Posted August 23, 2009 Share Posted August 23, 2009 i dunno how you guys listen to so much new stuff... i listen to records for hours each day and i've probably only heard 3 or 4 albums that have actually come out this year. generally. i really like the new sunn, bibio and black moth super rainbow records - but they're all by people i'm already familiar with anyway and i'll check out whatever they do. between listening to music from the whole history of recorded music and listening to records i've already got, i'm not sure how some of you get the time. i mean, 34 best albums? that's about one for every week!
