Siegecow
Theere's probably already been a thread about pads but if not its due time i'd say! Pads are my favourite part of music! Truly the backbone of a good track. For me, pads are to electronic music what rhythm guitar is to rock (fucking SWEET THAT IS). Post your favourite pads or a song with hella good pads inside of it! Discuss techniques for making pads and your favourite pad production modules

soundwave
its kinda o love n hate thing with pads with me yeah its nice to play some big open chords but on the other side they are the most clichéd synth sound in any music pads have to be intricate or dark to get my attention these days

modey
i don't have any songs to contribute but i love using the infector+funkyverb+fsmchorus in buzz for pads. and as for hardware, i use an old yamaha portasound through a vox wah pedal, behringer reverb and delay. the wah pedal gives it a nice subtle distortion that can also sound really bad if you don't know what you're doing.
