But I never got mine to be hard or different, I got them cause they have meaning to me. SO yeah I've had them for a long ass time. And part of what I like about them is the idea that they are permanent and that its something you'll have your whole life. so if people regret tattoos and get them removed I think it's not that they've matured or anything, its that they were dumb to get it in the first place if it was something they would get over. But then again, I drew the design on a piece of paper and hung it above my bed for a year, where I'd see it every day when I went to bed and when I woke up, before I got it inked. And there were a heck of a lot of designs that I'd put up in that spot that I took down after a few months so I'm hugely glad I didn't get them put on my body. But we've already established that I'm a total paisley freak, and now I love the fact that even when I'm naked, I'm still wearing paisley...
